Considering they can affect movement, imagine another Interdictor title that says:
"When you overlap squadrons, YOU decide where to place them"
I mean it would be thematic right? Probably have to be expensive though, maybe a 10 point title?

Well, I do feel I have to ask the question:
Is it thematic? Or is that assumptive?
Have we seen such an effect demonstrated or written about in the NewCanon?
Because we did not see anything but basic Grav Wells and Tractors in Rebels....
I mean, I understand why it only got one - it is supposed to be "somewhat of a prototype" at that point... They (The Rebels) found it in a testing area after all...
And I'm all for more Interdictor Titles...
Just, what is thematic for them?

That would give it way too many cards exclusively for it. It has only one title because it has a bunch of upgrages other stuff can't have. Compare it to Phoenix Home, which also only has one title and a bunch of upgrades unique to itself.
Two titles would be cool, but it doesn't need six cards unique to it.
I've declared the ship titles and grav-wells from Armada Shipyards to be fair play.
Black Asp - 12p - [ENG] You may spend 2 engineering points to choose an obstacle at medium-long range. Toggle the activation slider of all squadrons at distance 1 of that obstacle to the activated side.
Harpax - 8p - Before a friendly ship at close range is attacked, you may spend a defense token. If you do, the BOMBER keyword and abilities on Ordinance upgrade cards cannot be used for that attack.
G7-x Gravity Well Projectors - 8p - Modification. While your current speed is 0, ships at distance 1-5 cannot spend [evade] tokens.
G8-a Gravity Well Projectors - 10p - After you reveal a [CON] command, you may spend that dial to choose a ship at close-medium range. Reduce that ship's speed and your own speed by 1.
I'm not sure we will ever get more titles... here's hoping for a spinal ion cannon, or expanded launchers esque ion cannon
And FFG should have more articles.... Whataya do?
I'm more concerned about the Interdictor being a tourney viable ship. Our tourney prep tests did not impress us as a competitive choice. Sure, it's super fun to play, but it didn't perform to its cost, and had almost no presence at the big tourney we went to a couple of weeks ago. Not good.

Interesting! I'm curious what setups did you run and with what ships... I'm still not sure on its competitiveness, but scramblers feels top tier to me, and controlling movement via konstantine and g8 seems solid..
Just ordered an Interdictor.
How is everyone liking this ship?
I am just casual player no one around here seems to play so no tournaments are happening.
Edited by TokyogrizI was just at a (casual) tournament that saw Interdictors in about half the lists, so its popularity seems to vary regionally.

i think its pretty cool, casual or no
It's like someone put a book onto of a star destroyer and now it's all squat.
Thanks for the feedback. ![]()
Glad I purchased one.
The Interdictor is a gorgeous model so for that alone its worth it.

That particular effect hasn't happened in Rebels yet, but it did happen in Heir to the Empire. If any ship COULD affect squadron movement, I would guess the Interdictor would certainly be a candidate. I kinda hope the Interdictor's presence in Rebels wasn't the only time we see it. I'd like to see more of them, and maybe someday we'll get more ship titles and other cards in a future cardboard pack.
And yes, I get why it only has one at this point - it has a lot of unique cards that only it can take. At least for now. If they eventually make an Interdictor V2, then maybe we'll have some crazy shenanigans.

Then it hasn't happened yet, in Canon. So Thematic, it is not.
Again, Yet.

Did it? I don't recall that. Tractor beam, and gravity generator was all I saw.
I think people seriously underestimate the Grav Shift Reroute. No card has the ability to just turn your opponents' objectives into liabilities for them quite like GSR does
At 100 points, Interdictor/title/grav shift/targeting scrambler is a pretty solid investment.
New titles:
Interceptor
Interferer
Interlocutor
Intergalactic
Inter the Dragon

how do you find it with your own intel sweep?
Should the Interdictor have more titles? The better question is when do we get more titles for every ship?

I think that's a hole card they are saving for later campaign expansions.
