Full antholog of vassal module updates by yours truly

By Mu0n729, in X-Wing

Thank you for all the hard work you do!

As someone who more often than not plays (and loses) on vassal, thanks for all your work on bringing this to us.

Any teaser of the changes for the faithful?

Any teaser of the changes for the faithful?

That post made me chuckle.

Because while I don't doubt your sincerity in your "faithfulness" in the module, it wasn't enough to get you to click the article and read to the end :D :D

Cheers.

Ah the old hyperlink blindness. Thanks very much

Question: I have vassal 5.7.0 and want to upgrade to the newest version, but when I download the ships from the new version I don't get them all. Just a few.

How do I get all the ships updated to the newest version of the software? What files should I download. Also, some of the other files have the same names under different versions, should I download them too?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Eaglet, I answered your question in the otber thread. For that kind of question and similar ones about getting set up, read my installing and playing guide, also linked to from the patch notes at the bottom of the page you use to download the module in the first place. It's also linked to every time I post an update blog entry about the module. http://s93768914.onlinehome.us/xwing/

Ok. I understand, so for each faction there are ship upgrades, but sometimes you just release a few ships with an update and the other ships remain untouched. I thought all ships were in all ship upgrades, I created ship directory and maintain the most current version of the each ship in that directory.

now I understand.

Thanks,

Muon, thank you.

Now we need another genius to put in some time to make bumping automatic and it will be complete... For a moment.

But seriously, thank you. Interesting to watch the development.

First step: custom java method that displays a popup that says "hello world".

I haven't succeeded in that first step yet...
