I have just purchased the core set (2 actually...) and a few packs from the first cycle.

I know that the news about GW and FF will more than likely mean there won't be anything more coming for it, but I bought it to play with my son, and not at all for competitive play, so I'm ok with that.

I would like to ask, what would be something to aim for? Do I collect 1 each of the deluxe expansion? Are the warpacks good value? Is it enough to have 1 of each pack, or do you have to but multiples before they're worth their while? Anything else you thing a newcomer HAS to know?

Deluxe and warpacks are full playsets so you'll only need 1 of each.

Deluxe gives more bang for the buck.
