I know a lot of people will complain that you're bomber loadout is too heavy, and that he'll never last long enough to empty his tubes. Personally, I love how people panic over a heavy bomber and ignore the rest of your squad!

Other than that, I feel the tie/d title is tailor-made for Vessery. Tie/d Vessery with Tractor beam and Marksmanship is hillarious. But I guess that's just my personal preference.

I'd rather throw away one of the two missiles (I prefer Homing personaly) or just pick a torpedo instead and use those points to put some EPTs on the Defenders. PTL on Ryad and VI on Maarek. Truth is, Vessery is better suited for Tie/D. I love Maarek Stele, but I find him better with x7 title instead.

Agreed that TIE D is best with Vessery. I ran a list twice yesterday that did well:

Vessery, VI, Title D, Tractor Beam, Mk2 engines (38)

2x Gamma Squad Vets w/ Adaptability up, Homing Missiles, Proton Rockets, Seismic Charges, EM, and Long Range Scanners.

Turn 1, GSV rolls slow and grabs TL's on high threat ships (because target anywhere, just not close). Then burn in and engage, taking a focus as action.

The TL's from GSV activate Vessery's ability to grab TL's. Homing missiles don't spend a TL to fire, just have to have one. So with 4 dice, a TL, and a focus, there are almost always 4 hits going in. Prockets are the same, but w/ focus (i.e. you dont spend it). So if I'm R2-3 of my target, they get a 4 dice HM. If I'm R1, they get a 4 dice Procket. Both have a TL and focus if needed for mods, which is why I don't run GC's.

Then I play "run away" dropping seismics, and reaquiring TL's while the target gets turned around. Vessery continues to harass with Tractor and guns.

Something to note... I don't think that Deadeye works w/ Homing Missiles. I'm going to ask in rules forum, but Deadeye specifies that you can sub a focus for a secondary that requires you to spend a target lock. HM doesn't require that you spend that TL, just have it. In that context, deadeye doesn't apply.

Edit- I haven't posted yet, but reading errata on Deadeye, the first half seems to fit, it's the second half that comes off the rails. Regardless, if you run homing missiles only on a bomber, deadeye isn't nearly as useful as some other options, imho.
