I search the QA and cannot find it. Nothing comes up with I search for Oicunn.

So if I have Oicunn and I currently touching 1 small ship and execute a 3 forward, which passed over the ship I'm touching and 2 more ships and bumps a third, do all 4 get 1 damage. Even though I cannot complete the move and would effectively stay where I am?

Pretty sure that you would only do the damage to the ship you were touching originally if you aren't physically able to move your ship.

where is this posted. I have someone who declares otherwise eveytime.

Yes, Oicunn is a crutch, too.

You only end up damaging the ship(s) you end up touching in base to base contact after you perform the move. Any other ships you would overlap, but do not touch, do not get any damage.

Read Oicunns card: AFTER executing a maneuver, each enemy ship you are touching suffers one damage... Is Oicunn touching the other ships the way you discribed? No, then only the first ship suffers a damage. Let me take a wild guess, your friend also plays Warhammer 40K?

Oicunn's card says "after completing a maneuver" each ship you're touching suffers a damage. In the situation you mentioned, Oicunn couldn't complete the maneuver so he ends up at his starting point. This is where his maneuver ends. This is when you determine who Oicunn is touching.

Remember too, a ship doesn't move along its template when you execute a maneuver. You pick it up and place it at the opposite end of the template. Any ships the template may pass over are not affected by the template itself.

Though, a ship which affected the ships and/or obstacles touched by its template (before it bumps of course) would be a very interesting concept for a pilot ability or mod (Ramming Prow, modification, small ship only, when you execute a manoeuvre every ship that your template overlaps with suffers 1 damage. After you have taken the effects of an obstacle, all other ships within range 1 of it receive 1 stress token and it is removed from the board.)
