Scum Huge Ship Ideas?

By Kyle Ren, in X-Wing

I'm all for the Action VI.

And before someone says "eww, but it's not canon!"

One Action VI Transport appeared in Ep II.

This would be the chance to get a few more EU characters as crew :D

No one says that

They say "ewww it looks like a dustbuster!"

And is this a problen?

Many ships have forms, reminding of something else.

Just teasing - I kinda like the Action VI - it's reminiscent of a Chris Foss style of design (except it's not stripey)

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Broken_Horn This is my guess. It is in Rebels, we see the inside and outside, it is a Gozanti Class cruiser so there are a couple specific upgrades that could be shared, and you can package it with two models of ships that would like some love; syke, kihraxz, starviper (I think it would come with sykes). This seems to fit how the last two epic releases have gone. I don't have an opinion yet for what they will do for the scum "biggest" ship, but as I said there are options for a small base to package with it.

I think if I'm understanding you right, you're saying that they could do another Most Wanted set that comes with Gozanti cards? That would be really cool... Maybe it could come with YT-1300 cards too? That would give another way to fly a double crew Jabba card...

Well, it'd be interesting for Scum to borrow more from Imps after rebels, after the Firespray that has kind of being exhausted for non-Epic ships. Unless FFG releases a tri-faction Skipray. It'd also be a perfect reason to slide a couple Scummy characters from Rebels into the game who aren't already.

The Starlight Intruder.

Broken Horn is likely.

There's another Hutt freighter which would work as an epic Scum ship. It doesn't have any specific model class name but it's just referred to as Borvo the Hutt's freighter.

In Legends, the ship was operated by the Hutt Borvo and his organization, the Nal Raka Criminal Empire, during the time of the Trade Federation's occupation of Naboo. The ship was first seen in the game Star Wars: Episode I: Battle for Naboo.

The ship appeared to have two laser cannons mounted on either of its sides and one underneath. The front half of the ship could also detach when damaged or in need of a fast escape.

That's a real beauty. Would totally buy it

Edit: The Action Transport looks too much like a vacuumcleaner or children's watergun.

6 month ago my eldest son start to play Scum lists against me (Empire) and my other son (Rebel).

Sometimes during the rainy weekends of March we try Epic fights, so he needs a huge Scum ship.

We found a model of Wild Karrde:

...a very nice ship, we met the captain Talon in a comics and he was a great character, so...

The result is not perfect, our experience with the parameters of the software, 6 months ago was only at the beginning,

so the result was a bit too rough.

It was also one of the first attempt with the paintbrush.....

I hope that ship will be released officially soon.

I'm secretly hoping for a Black Sun Gozanti repaint model that includes conversion cards for the GR75 transport; grabbing up both of the other faction's small ships in one pack that would put everyone at two epic ships.

People keep suggesting Jabba the Hutt cards that use up two crew slots. I hate that.

Obviously he's a big dude, but do we really want that little bit of flavor sprinkled in at the expense of ONLY being able to field Jabba in a YV-666s for standard games? I'm cool with Jabba being quite a bit less powerful than Emperor (obviously, because pretty much everything should be), taking up one crew slot, and costing about 5 points with a very solid, scummy ability.

If you want to represent that Jabba wouldn't cruise around in a HWK or G1-A, maybe put the "Large Ship Only" text on that fella.

Jabba taking up two crew slots sounds flavorful, but also terrible for actual game play.

Are you kidding? Jabba the Butt takes up 3 crew slots! Or a team slot. And he can put the 'Death Mark' condition on an enemy ship which gives all of Jabba's friendlies an extra red die on all attacks on that ship. And he gives all friendly illicits an 'illicit extra munitions' token for MOAR glitter and hot shots.

And I have no idea how much Jabba should cost, but probably a lot. At least 1 or 2 points. Or 8.

SW Rebels SPOILERS

After watching the Season 3 premiere of Rebels...

anybody think the first Epic Scum will be a Mining Guild Aurore-class Freighter and 2 Mining Guild TIEs?

(all factions will have the TIE)

more likely to be a c-roc with hondo and vizago and a broken horn title

I wouldn't expect too many more ships from the old EU at this point. The source material for this kind of ship will come from either Rebels or one of the new movies or a more current video game.

There are far more well considered ideas for Scum Epic ships

in this 110 page thread , I don't see the need for so many other smaller ones.

Thanks. Did a search to see if one already existed and didn't see that one. Everyone listen to gabe69velasquez and ignore this thread!

The Starlight Intruder.

I'm working on it.

So, after two half of 9.5 hours each, I'm proud to present my biggest 3D printed ship: the Starlight Intruder !

Thanks to Avioza http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:550483 for the nice model.

Now I'm inspiring on these images for paint:

Why Jabba has to be into a Lancerclass, or into a Jumpmaster? Nah, I think I like the idea of a slow giant throne for him, more than a shuttle or a fighter.

I hope to see him as a 2 crew member. Can you immagine Palpatine into a Firespray!? It will sucks.

Another potential Scum ship idea, the freighter known as the Dusty Duck .

vuiig.jpg

2568eic.png

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dusty_Duck

The Dusty Duck was a custom made light freighter piloted by the Pa'lowick smuggler Neeamesh Dym, and later by his daughter, Aneesa, after he was murdered, together with the bounty hunter Rango Tel. Eventually, Aneesa was murdered by Darth Maul whilst in Mos Espa who thought that she knew the whereabouts of Qui-Gon Jinn and Anakin Skywalker. Tel also soon died after trying to hunt down a bounty on the podracer and criminal heir Kam Nale who when encountered gunned him down. The ship would continue to be worked on by Pit Droids and would remain there forever to rust.

The ship first appeared in a deleted scene in The Phantom Menace and later mentioned in the novel The Wrath of Darth Maul and various articles.

It's unknown how big the ship was, but based on its appearance compared to Qui-Gon, Anakin and the Pit Droids working on it, it could be big enough to qualify as a Scum epic ship. It's also unknown if the ship had any sort of armaments.

If released, pilots for the ship could be Neeamesh Dym, Aneesa Dym, and Rango Tel. It could also come with a Pit Droid which can serve as an astromech upgrade.
