Z-95 Points Cost and Details Thoughts

Well as for me I think the squadron hitpoint system is too broad because it keeps track of all squadron defenses (shields/agility/hull). To be honest I think the X-wing should have been 3 hit points but with a brace token and TIE Fighters should have had an evade token that has an ability against squadrons for close range. However Armada has way too simplified squadron play (no docking/launching, no hyperspace/droid, limited upgrade capacity). However Armada is a tall ship game even if Star Wars wasn't much of a tall ship combat movie. However it is good that FFG has finally made squadrons al right bringing the need for anti-squadron ships or squadron screens to protect your huge ships.

I still vote for my 2 blue 1 black AS and 1 red anti-ship. 8-9 points.

I don't see how a ship that had triple blasters and concussion missiles outguns an X-Wing fighter. Probably 3 blue anti-fighter and 1 black anti-ship. I agree with your price range, however.

Meh just my preference, just as you have yours :) At the end of the day it doesn't matter much lol. You could be dead on, or i, or we could both be not even in the ballpark. Only time will tell, but i'll admit i'm looking forward to wave 5 :D

I'm going to say 3 hull, 3 speed 3B vs Squadrons, 1R vs Ships, Swarm, and 8 points.

The Red anti ship die gives the squadron a small chance of doing double damage to ships, so a large group of them will potentially result in a few doubles.

Hopefully the Z-95 will be a good design, but my fear is these things just getting slaughtered out there...

If Lieutenant blount has the ability to reroll friendly squadrons's dice as predicted, it could prove to become the anti-squadron rhymer ball.

I vote Black anti-ship. Red anti-ship without bomber is just sadness. Same number of total hits on die as blue, but 3/8 hit rate makes it of lower reliability than even the tie fighter, and tie fighters don't carry missiles.
