So my MC30 is speed 4 and has no nav token/command but would like to turn left as much as possible.
I pick up the movement tool and plot straight, left, left and straight.
I can lock this in on the left or right side of the ships base as the lack of yaw in the final stage means either way I don't overlap the tool with a small based ship.
I lock it in on the right side of the base and begin measuring but - disaster - an enemy raider is slightly overlapped. If I reduce the move to a 3 I won't overlap any ships but will cross my movement tool. Is this legal?
Do I therefore reduce the movement again? It would still cross the tool so have to reduce the manoeuvre to speed 1)?
Alternativley
Do I have to change the movement tool over to the left side of the base and then evaluate the overlaps afresh (which may no longer occur)?
