A step above scum!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am so excited about this expansion. As a kid Jabba's palace was my favorite setting and scenes out of the entire trilogy. I can't wait to layout the tiles with Jabba, the Rancor, and the Gamorreans!

I know what I'm asking for this Christmas ;)

3 really good additions to the game, looks great, i like the Skirmish Shyla Varad

Vinto might turn into my new favorite guy to use. Though Shyla looks really cool too.

All three skirmish cards have the hunter trait. I expect we'll be getting a lot of fancy new Hunter command cards. :D

All three look interesting! Very excited about this expansion!

oh wow, Shyla and Vinto look so much fun for skirmish

core set heroes are getting more and more outclassed in skirmish...

I can't wait to make all of my opponents hate me by screaming "wha-pash!" every single time I use Shyla's ability.

How can a figure be pushed into impassible terrain ( Pit of Carkoon) ? I didn't think this was possible, unless they were mobile. In which case, it's not really all that dangerous for them.

Well, they were pretty subpar to begin with, so only way to avoid that would be to make newer heroes even more rubbish. Not sure that's the greatest design idea in the world.

Shyla look awesome to me. It is a shame I will be the IA in our next campaign. Instead of getting to dish out the fun new abilities, I will have to work around them...

Just release a new card for them? I hate seeing new players show up with the core box, playing Rebels; they get stomped on, get frustrated, and never come back...

You are correct, figures cannot move or be pushed through impassable terrain, so it is probably a mission rule.

Yeah. It would be a shame to have the sarlacc tile and not be able to push people into it. Must be a special rule.

If you notice, the skirmish cards have the skirmish icon. That means that the Empire will be able to hire them in the campaign. Why else would it be like that? Of course, if the Rebels are all playing with them then you can't hire them, probably.

That Mandalorian Whip is quite silly, I love it.

HHHHHHNNNNNNNGGGGGG

Awesome. Maybe my most anticipated expansion!

A little worried with Onar's abilities causing self-harm, especially when every attack against him will do decent damage, so hoping it works out.

I'll be yelling "GET OVER HERE" with Shyla

My understanding is that the cards have a skirmish icon precisely so that the Imp Player can't use them in campaign play. I don't think there will be campaign icon versions.

Hmm, didn't consider that.

I think it's more likely to get stomped because they played their first time. Some older figures are 1-2 points of, that won't break a list. Biv, Saska, Mak and perhaps Chewie and Han might need adjustment, not sure about the rest.

Point cost would be the most elegant adjustment, because you don't really need a new card for it. You show up with a list with 40+x points, show your enemy that the latest errata reduces point cost for your list by x and that's it.

A reasonable person should expect to get stomped going to their first tournament with just the starter set, figure costs aside. Expecting a different outcome would be very unrealistic.

I expect the example of pushing a figure through impassable terrain was yet another rules mistake made by an oblivious preview article writer, there have similar mistakes in past preview articles, such as the K-Wing and Echo Base Troopers.

I'm almost certain it's a mission rule. You think they're going to miss an opportunity to let you push people into the Sarlaac pit? :D

I'm also hoping for some ally/villain packs in addition to what they've announced. I'd love to get some Weequays, Niktos, Granns, and Quarren mixed in.

Personally I wish they would have made the new hero Weequay instead of Rodian, but let's face it, if they did that I would have renamed him Hondo Minsc, and insisted that he have a miniature giant space hamster companion.

Surge: Go for the eyes, Boo!

Grann instantly suffers two strain

Weequay pirates are in the big box of Jabba's realm. All we know so far is they come two to a deployment with two deployments worth in the box.

OMG, he blended in so well I didn't even see him hanging out there!!!!
