Yeah, it's possible that I'm about to hit that point, as well. *sigh*
One option I'm looking at is from coin collecting.
These should have plenty of room for small bases
This one should fit large bases, although the bases might be slightly too long.
I wonder if these will work?

P.S. does anyone have the dimensions of the small ship bases?
Edited by Ken at SunriseI use these.
The ones on the left are perfect for unupgraded dials, they're lighthouse encap pages. (They're very thick though, they work a little worse for upgraded dials. You'll also want to cut them a little because they open and close which means you can't open them when they're in the binder.
On the right is BCW coin pages. They have thumb holes for easy access, but are a tad looser than I'd like. The material is stiff, and can push at the top row. The other rows have a catch that prevents them from falling out.
Ugh....binders are the worst. No thanks.
I did see someone had a container like a pringles can for the dials. It was from an old game like Yugi-oh or something?

I got sheets for tobacco trading cards, so I could use them for the upgrade cards, this was a while ago, before they started making ones the proper size.
I found that those worked great for the token cards.
I use the double lidded Plano boxes and sort the dials/tiles in the outside compartments - 1 slot for each ship dial and cardboard.
3 faction boxes ( red rebel , black empire, green scum ) and a double box for all the pieces and current squads I'm using.
I am moving my pilot and upgrade cards to binders. I think I'm going to keep my bases (card board and plastic) and dials in bulk storage.
I'm actually trying to move away from using the actual pilot and upgrade cards at all. I prefer to printing the squads ahead of time. Or in my case having a book of squads to choose from.
I just recently made the switch to binders, and I freakin love it. I've had my pilot cards in two deck boxes (rebels and imp/scum), upgrade cards in a ultrapro side loader (though they've since released special mini sized ones), and the bases/dials have moved all over since I started the game, always looking for a home.
Most recently, I had all of the imp/scum stuff in a 3rd card box, and then had the rebel stuff that I use most often up top in storage compartments that were previously for tokens. That was working okay, but it was taking a ton of room. Since my collection keeps growing, I finally outgrew the toolbox, and switched to two of the stanley 10 box organizers, coupled with SirWalliBald's storage boxes for all the ships. This meant that one of the boxes was for dials/cardboard bases, and I had to remove 4 for the upgrade folder. They were constantly disorganized and a PITA to find anything.
So I finally made the switch to a binder system. To go along with the split rebels and imp/scum, I have two 2'' binders. The rebels one has all of the upgrade cards using 16 slot pages, and 2 of the same upgrade in a slot, then it has a pencil pouch that has all of the maneuver templates, along with the rebel pilot cards, dials, small bases, and large bases. It works great, it's easy to see everything, it's easy to add new things, it's easy to replace cards I just used, and it's easy to carry (I have a hook on the stanley case for the binder). Wonderful system.
I tried coin pages for a while and just didn't like them. Plus with already having a binder for all the cards, I wasn't feeling having a second one. Now they're all in a Plano box sorted by type.

Pogs! I don't actually know if this is it, but it made me think of it.

I tried these and they felt awful. I'm storing my small ship bases and my maneuver dial backs (I use dial upgrades) in the 16 pocket American sized card pages.

Sir willi's gear boxes and micro hangars. Then any container you'd like. I use Plano.

Yea, I don't bother with pilot or upgrade cards either. I print out the list I'm going to play and go with that. Way quicker, that's why I have to get my dials a bases better sorted it is pretty much the only thing that slows me down.
