Building a Rebel list for an unknown meta

By Irishmadcat, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

So most of the games I have played so far I have lost the squadron battle quite heavily so this list is an attempt to counter that. I only own rebels so I don't have any of the imperial expansion cards such as fighter co-ordination team. This list is for a tournament on Sunday in a city where I have not played in the meta before. I also can't fly a Neb b to save my life. Anybody any thoughts?

What other ships and squadrons do you have at your disposal?

What other ships and squadrons do you have at your disposal?

2 assault frigates, 2 nebulouns, 2 transports, liberty class mc80, 2 mc 30s, 4 of each rebel squadron

It might be good to drop an Xwing in order to get an HWK in there, to shake loose an engaged fighter. Your anti squadron is pretty strong already.

Use the extra point to upgrade Quantum Storm to Bright Hope. Man that is a handy title.

Dodonnas Pride has a low chance of getting a crit - may be better to swap out for SW-7's.

Thanks for the feedback. Makes sense

I would personally drop Han, for a HWK, upgrade an XWing to Luke, upgrade the CR90B to an A with TRCs. You're now making the most out of Dodonna.

Change your blue objective too, you have plenty fast ships for intel sweep, or enough bombers for superior positions.

Point taken on the Objective. Makes sense,

On the squadron changes a number of thoughts

I Purposely made sure the heros didn't have escort so they would be targeted last.Does luke not always die first?

I also don;t have the squadrons to command all the non rogues unless I use The CR90's to chip in Are non rogue fighters able to contribute atm?

I'd advise looking at the squadron set up. It's not bad but I'm not sure that you need both Dash Rendar and Han Solo. I'd pick one and maybe swap the other one for Jan Ors for some intel/defense token shenanigans.

Which would you drop?

I don't feel there's much difference between the two. They're both really solid against squadrons. Dash is faster, Han is tougher. Dash is slighter better against ships thanks to his bomber and reroll but Han gets to move and shoot before anybody else. I tend to prefer Han Solo just because he's Han Solo.

Thanks. A Lot to think about.

I disagree here.. Han is an absolute beast.. Activate him in the squadron phase and move him in the furball to engage weakened(and hopefully tokenless) enemy aces. The next round activate him at the start of the ship phase fire at another target and use grit to move him out again using Grit.. I use him with A-wings.. and the then weakened enemies is then subjected to counter..

I disagree. It depends on what they're being used for. Han is incredibly good against squadrons, but Dash fits better here as he is a bomber (BCC, precision strike, Dodonna). Moving Han first subjects him to a lot of potential punishment over the course of a round (though it is very clutch when used with a plan), and Dash is cheaper.
