Anyways, I can figure out a good list for myself because I got all kinds of stuff, but he has hardly anything.

I have R4-D6 and I plan on getting HotR which has 2 Integrated Astros in it.

Side note:

He barely has an X-Wing collection going and yet he's already fallen in love with the Raider. If he buys it, he'll have Palpatine and I already have a Lambda...

But he's not good enough to really play Palp Aces. I think he needs more beef and less finesse.

Usually Corran as there isn't enough room to slim down Poe.

You can make him buy a K-Wing, though. The expansion has tremendous value for him since TLT is so good for HWKs and Miranda is a top notch but relatively easy to fly pilot. Use Chewbacca to substitute 3PO. Works better than Corran in that list.

Edit: Chewie is too expensive, use Intelligence Agent for SLAMing instead.

That's your call. You could close your eyes and use the force to choose but If you have autothrusters I'd help Poe for sure. Otherwise it depends on what's available.

I have a K-Wing so loaning him the card isn't a problem. I also have 3PO to put on the HWK too, if needed. I didn't know that TLT was good on a HWK, thanks for the tip.

Sorry if I was confusing, 3PO doesn't go well on an HKW, he is only strong on 1 agility ships like Miranda.

True, keep it cheap? Dorsal Turret. Need some damage? TLT. Want to be flashy/have a really weird game plan? Autoblaster Turret (oh my, cloak Palob is so hilarious).

Never ever Blaster Turret. Ion Turret exists I guess.

Imperial aces can be tough to fly for a new guy, but he has Inquisitor and Fel, all he needs is the Imp Aces expansion or a Tie FO for Omega Leader and he could have some nice options for a 3 ace list
