The logic is doing what the abilities say. Melee attacks do not normally require accuracy. Stealth specifies that melee attacks need at least 1 accuracy to not miss. While defending, Hidden applies -2 accuracy. Hidden does not matter when melee attack doesn't need accuracy, but it matters with Stealth, because you need to have 1 or more accuracy after all modifiers or the attack misses.

If the target is Hidden with with Stealth, Hidden applies -2 accuracy, so melee attacks require 3 Accuracy.
But it's the same thing as feeling pain if you poke your eye. Don't do it. Use ranged attacks against the group with Stealth, use your melee attacks against other groups.
I wish Jabba's Realm is shipping as soon as possible so we can move to a new pet hate of his.
Yes, shoot those elite storm troopers with Gideon and his starter pistol. WHAT A GREAT IDEA! *faceplam*
If Jabba's Realm is a *********** like Bespin and not a return to previous expansion quality you can move on to being able to buy all my IA garbage.

Why would you attack with Gideon in the first place? And if the imperial can bring in elite storm troopers, then you should be beyond start weapons for the primary attackers.
Or are you suggesting that someone brought a team of 3 melee attackers + Gideon?

Probably Diala, Davith, Gaarkhan + Gideon... hehe.

Thanks, this is what happens trying to apply "real life" to a game mechanic. "How can my guy miss???? He's right in front of me!!"

I'm suggesting 1 attacker isn't going to be finishing off the storm trooper squad, and no, having 2 melee in your party is not at all unusual. And when one of those characters is Biv with his Vibro Bayonet who not only has dead draws but dead cards in his ability deck, it's really problematic.
But sure, just keep pretending that all those "kill X" or "no adjacent" missions don't exist and make this card lethal for gameplay due to a really stupid mechanic.
I do, to a point, agree with Union's beef on the matter regarding stealth/hidden/melee, though I still thoroughly enjoyed the Bespin content.
From a design standpoint, it does feel like it was an oversight to allow a mechanic that almost invalidates a play style. While their are work arounds, such as having melee target non-stealthed models, that is not a great a solution.
In reality, a simple solution would simply to make it so hidden and stealth do not stack against melee. Makes it reasonable hard, and as long as you are solely rolling red dice, you still have a chance to connect. Alternatively, make stealth force a reroll on a chosen die would have worked as well.
I dunno, just thoughts I suppose.

Giving a reroll would have been a much better idea. I find it very nonsensical that stealth somehow penalizes people standing in melee range with a sword in their hand but does nothing to someone with a gun at any range, even adjacent like the melee characters. It's silly on top of being mechanically awful. Draw your sword, whoa, where'd he go, draw your pistol, oh, I can see you, draw your sword, wow, disappeared again!
I completely didn't realize you had to pick the top X amount of cards in order to see what was available for you to purchase. xD My friends and I are playing, and I'm Fenn. It's been going decent for the Rebels after 4 missions. We haven't spent our xp really, and we've won 2 missions. I will most certainly have to tell my Imperial player that he needs to read up on the rules better. Thanks again everyone!
