I got an alert from one of my local shops that the ARC-170, TIE/SF, Protectorate Fighter, and Shadow Caster have a retail street date of September 22 (at least here in the USA).
You may have seen this in other places; remember, you heard it here fourthst!

I realize after re-reading my post, it may have come across a bit ... well ... obnoxious. It was not intended as so. I had opened my e-mail concerning my shipment (due Friday), and then saw the above post saying that the official release date was now Sept 22nd.
I was surprised. I actually went back and clicked on the tracking information, and the packages have already begun their journey, so hopefully this isn't all just a dream ...

Out of curiosity did you order it from amazon before they changed the date? Just asking out of curiosity and not like I want to see if I can still get some Arcs early or anything...
Also if the order shipped I highly doubt Amazon or FFG can stop it, unless they hire some bounty hunters than it is up in the air.
That means some of us will have our Fang Fighters and Shadow Casters in time for the Season 3 premiere!

This is indeed the case. I had ordered all of Wave 9 from Amazon, and my shipment notices did get generated PRIOR to the date change.
I guess it is possible that I simply got lucky and/or someone EFFed up and released the stuff for shipping, when it should not have gone out.
Here's hoping it actually comes on Friday ...
