Well, I'd say it looks like it's about even split for defense/attack:)
I think the best response to the question so far was:
Attack for sure.
The more attack dice you add, the more valuable each new die becomes, because the more likely that die is going to get past the defender's green dice to deal damage.
The more defense dice you add, the less valuable each defense die becomes, because eventually you start rolling more evades than you need. For example, there's not much difference between a 5 green dice Soontir and a 6 green dice Soontir when defending against TIE fighters.
Either that one or the response from guy that said it was a stupid question;)
This is a tricky question.
First priority would bring my attack greater than 2.
Then bring my greens to greater than 2.
Now on a 3/3 ship I would give attack about a 1.5 dice priority.
If there are canons or turrets on the ship, the priority would go to the defense. AKA the Moldy Crow and Y-Wing I would raise the defense, and let the turrets do the work. Or just support ships in general. I would raise the Greens in a Palp Mobile no questions asked.
Also you can win with a 1/0 ship but not a 0/1 ship. Attack takes priority.
Extra dice?
Depends on which value is higher to start with.
Attack higher than agility? Boost attack. (assuming you will be using the primary attack value of the ship)
Agility higher than attack? Boost Agility (in most cases, although there are a couple of ships that break this rule.)
Attack & Agility equal? Boost attack is generally a better default action than boosting agility.
Basically, take whichever attribute is strongest, and push it a bit further.

+1 red dice = +1 good game = better game .. right!? Simple maths really.
Gotta agree with this, I love Red and the more red the better, unless it is against me then the less the better. But yeah I feel more comfortable with more red dice to ensure I damage enemy ships than green dice, gotta get past x7 Defenders with stealth device somehow...
