The Clone Wars

The Darksaber, an over 1000 year old artefact from a mandalorian Jedi from house Vizsla who seem to have fought against the Sith Empire. After his death and the reclaiming of coruscant for the jedi and republic the mandalorian stole the saber and since then it become an item associated with leading house Vizsla, and highly respected among the other houses. Those who wield it have a claim to lead house Vizsla and a good chance to relay all of mandalore behind them.

It's from the Clone Wars, and the sword is a Darksaber. It's actually a mandalorian lightsaber made by the first Mandalorian Jedi who was from the same clan as the guy wielding it in the clip (ancestor type, though.)

Wow, you're lucky to live in Melbourne - I'm stuck here in the USA *still* waiting for mine to arrive!

I pre-ordered mine back in December from Cool Stuff Inc (normally very good at this kind of thing), but they *still* don't have any to send out.
I've even called the stores around me that would normally carry it (not very local), but they don't have any either.

Clone Wars Cartoon. Season 6 I believe. and that is a lightsaber whose history is revealed in the latest Rebels Cartoon.

That weapon is the dark saber, first wielded by star killer he first used it to defeat Vader then fought with the emperor to buy the alience leaders time to escape, rumours indicate that the lightning Storm projected the dark saber back in time, into the chambers of the first mandolorians Jedi. He then made a fantastical story up on how he got it.

Mind you, I'm not quite sure, but I believe that comes from The Clone Wars, and that is the Darksaber, a thousand year old artifact from house Vizsla.

I had preordered mine from CSI. On Feb2, I stopped at a comic shop and saw it on the shelf. Showing great foresight (or a great lack of impulse control), I bought it and cancelled my CSI preorder. I have no regrets.

No (signs of) Disintegrations here in germany...

[RAGE] I talked to my FLGS and it turns out they never actually pre-ordered my copy, they relied on their "automatic preorder" system, which didn't work in the past, when I told them that this book would sell out quick so to make sure they put in the preorder manually which does work (and I get it on release day), and they said they would, but didn't, and now they can't get it because their supplier sold out,

SO I just ordered it on AMAZON and paid ~$25 for delivery by Saturday because I have already waited over a week to get a book that I would have gotten on release day if my FLGS had done what I'd told them and they agreed to do.

Got my copies last week.

Yes, I managed to accidentally order two copies again. Sigh….

I’ve got friends in foreign countries that are likely to be receiving several such gifts, hopefully sooner rather than later.
