Got my copies last week. :P

Yes, I managed to accidentally order two copies again. Sigh…. :(

I'm beginning to think that that routine *accident* may be more than it appears....

/sigh

Still not appearing on the UK release sheets for next week. :(

Yeah.. I phoned my preorder last week, no news/update so I've sent an email today. There are copies on Ebay Australia and it's sold out on Amazon UK already!!! Fingers crossed... Once again FFG give a metaphorical finger to the SW rping community with not enough copies produced...

I have come to the conclusion that the company really doesn't give a shite about it's non-USA market. We're all playing 'Hunt the Splatbook/Xwing mini etc'

But I thought the Asmodee deal was supposed to put everyone on an equal footing with the US, distribution wise?

I feel like a broken record with this, but it is extremely frustrating, and the complete lack of communication doesn't help. I ask my FLGS about FFG stuff and it's always "We know when it's coming when we open the boxes".

Seems a bizarre way to do business.

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put $125 I just got into an Amazon card due to Aflac claim on a back injury (Reasoning - "honey, it was my back that was in pain and now the money is all on Amazon cards, so I might as well catch up on my Star Wars collection"). So I get home and pull up Amazon.......and of course No Disintegrations is sold out on every Amazon vendor apparently no matter how many times I hit refresh. :( I see it at my usual website for games, but I've already got the raised eyebrow from dumping it all in Amazon cards for games, so.........

What I am about to say may sound hypocritical but...

I ordered a copy from amazon on Thursday when there was only 1 vender left, and paid $25 for one day shipping. I got no disintegrations this morning and have had time to go through the book well enough to take stock of everything in it without having read it.

No disintegrations is a good book but I can say that of every ffg star wars book with the possible exception of lead by example. It may even be a somewhat better than average ffg star wars book, but it does not deserve the hype we all gave it. Personally i'd say that "fly casual" or special modifications was probably, objectively speaking the best edge of the Empire career book (although it's not my favorite) tied for third and fourth are no disintegration and dangerous covenant.

So not having "no disintegrations" until the second printing, yeah it will suck, but it's not the end of the world since it's not "all that and a bag of chips", that said, and here's the hypocritical part, I am glad I got my copy and paid $25 to get it today so I wouldn't be frustrated/dying of anticipation. I hate having an itch I can't scratch and that is why I am glad I shelled out for it.

....but I have a very loving wife/accountant that understands my disease and gave me the ok to run over to Coolstuff for the price of a back rub (TMI?).

Sturn, do you actually live near CoolStuff, or did you mean run over to their website? Cuz if it's the former, we might be neighbors.

Clone Wars Cartoon. Season 6 I believe. and that is a lightsaber whose history is revealed in the latest Rebels Cartoon.

Season 5 , season 6 was the incomplete season that had several stories not make it into they cartoon , they finished half way through the series, however many of the stories made it into canon via other media. Ventress's final arc was made into a book - "Dark Disciple" Mauls arc was covered in the comic Maul:Son of Dathomir, Ahsokas final clone wars chapter never made it into other media , but the story was told nonetheless at SW:Celebrations and is also considered canon, the the story group. There is a series of animation incomplete episodes available on YouTube that tell the tale of the separatists getting massive kyber crystals for using in a superweapon that gets foiled by Anakin and Obiwan.

Metaphorical digital sprint.

I might have helped spruce up that playground down the road from you though from local taxes on my Coolstuff purchases. :)

As I *finally* got my copy today?

I can echo these sentiments; No Disintegrations is a fine product, but feels a bit "lighter" than it should...

And am I the only one bummed out when I see gorgeous artwork in these things of ships, tech, and species that aren't included? Ha. I mean, I'd like a pet "space wolf"... ;)
