We don't need to guess. Mandalorian Battle Armor was covered in Friends Like These .

Well Mando armor is in Friends like these.

That doesn't mean for sure that it will be the same though. And iirc there weren't any hard points listed for it either.

That probably means that all of them were already full, ie it was already modded to the max.
So are we just going off the stats of armour that was equipped on NPC's, or was there some equipment part that I missed in that book?
Because, if it's off NPC's, then I'd say there's more than enough room for it to be put in No Disintegrations as a more complete item.

Considering Edge and Age are two different lines, i agree with the opportunity to give the stats for the mandalorian armor in No Disintegration.
Mandalorian armor was in the book, with a full sidebar of how Mandos of various skill levels tend to have them modded, but I wasn't able to capitalize on the book that much, sorry . I did see an interesting bit about space mines in the ships section, and I can tell you the Bounty pricing and Exploits sections are pretty darn cool .
One exploit in particular was my favorite in the few I read. It was called "Immortal," and you can get it if you take a Crit during the acquisition. If you have it, you get more money from Legendary level bounties (the "Han Solo and Chewbacca" level), but you no longer get hazard pay "...due to your perceived invincibility."
Edited by Absol197Thanks for feeding us what info you could get, Absol197 ! Much appreciated.
Any chance you know what bonus career skills the new specializations get?

Those have been revealed already in full in the pre-release article about the specs.

I'mean guessing, Augmenting armor template from keeping the peace with cortosis, that would be consistent with the stats in friends like theses (2 soak, 2 defense + cortos is quality) but it also gives us a guess at the hard points. Also it maybe that mandos just get some kind of discount on adding the cortos is quality to any armor

Sometimes I worry about my memory... Thank you!
Don't worry, you're the third person to ask me that, so it's not like you're the only one who forgot . And if they hadn't already been released, I definitely would have put them with the specs!
Edited by Absol197Martial Artist is a monster! Iron Fists and Supreme Precision Strike? That's just nasty. Then the two talents that work off coordination are very thematic.
Opperator is a great spec, there are some nice navigation talents in there, and improved shortcut again is nice. But the various ways you can make life hard for an enemy Pilot are great, Hindering Shot looks amazing.
Skip Tracer is nice, that Hard Boiled talent!
Always get my mark, a very handy if rather hard Signature Ability to pull off. I can see a lot of GM trickery here "oh you got them alright, in custody and all, in the back of your speeder... but those 10 swoops chasing you don't think it's so great!"
Unmatched Devistation... WHAT!!!!!! That has to be the most off tap insane monster of a Signature Ability since Last One Standing... up to 4 combat checks in a single round, welcome to the Matrix, just bonkers.
I love how Unmatched Devastation requires you to use a different weapon for each attack, giving the BH an incentive to carry around a brace of pistols or make use of wrist mounts and hands-free weapon systems. I have an image in my head of a BH with Unmatched Devastation and a Soldier with The Bigger They Are... teaming up to alpha strike a walker with a barrage of critical hits.
Oh no no, Richard, not four combat checks. Five!
Remember, you use it as an incidental after making a combat check, and when fully upgraded it can add up to four additional combat checks. So yeah, it can rock! But you also have to consider that you have to be carrying at least four weapons, meaning you have to have the encumbrance to do so, and if the first four hit, the last is at a minimum of impossible difficulty. Depending on the GMs interpretation, since it's all one action, you wouldn't even be able to make that last shot, because you've already spent a Destiny Point on that action (to activate Unmatched Devastation).
But yeah, when I first saw that, I was all like O_O .
And I agree with your interpretation of the specs, too . I'm a big fan of using the Martial Artist to dual-wield unarmed attacks (which I'm pretty sure you can do), and then, if you have the strain to spare (and enough advantage), you can inflict an automatic Hard and Average crit! Both Improved and Supreme Precision Strike are once per round, but nothing says they're mutually exclusive, so you can use both if you get two crits...
And I'm a big fan of Hard-Boilded, too ! Out of all the new toys to play with, I'm irrationally excited about that one, because even though it's small, it's thematic and awesome!
Edited by Absol197With the ability to draw and holster between attacks for free, move for 2 Strain between every attack, remove 2 setback from every attack and hit 5 times in a round... crazy
i could see the character starting at Long range with a rifle, moving half way to Medium then launching a grenade at some Minions. Next move to Medium and draw your first pistol then shoot, move to Short and shoot with your second pistol then finally Engage and draw a vibro sword (or Lightsaber!) to take the BBEG out!
I like how success is not required to continue the chain either. The difficulty is only upgraded for successfully hitting.
I already have questions for the Devs though; what constitutes a combat check? Is Move Hurl a Combat check?(No!!!!!) What about specialist talents such as Hawk Bat Swoop or the Guns Blazing Incidental?
im also a little disappointed to not see something like guns blazing for the Brawl skill, oh well.
Three additional observations on Unmatched Devastation:
Richardbuxton already hit on this, but the signature ability is not limited to ranged weapons; I'm thinking an Assassin with a heckuva lot of vibroknives, or, with a magnanimous GM, a Martial Artist striking several times with different parts of their body.
And we now have one way of letting a Besalisk quadruple-wield weapons and fire them all in the same turn.
While the singular wording ("a different weapon") implies that two weapon combat is a no-go for the extra granted attacks, you could theoretically lead off with a two weapon attack before activating the ability.
A brace of 5 HH-50's! That's 10 possible hits, although it seems unlikely.
I actually think you CAN use two weapon combat, but the primary weapon has to be different each time.
So, for instance, you could do this, most likely:
First CC: Pistol A (TWC with Pistol B)
UD CC 1: Pistol B (TWC Pistol A)
UD CC 2: Pistol C (TWC Pistol A or B)
UD CC 3: Pistol D (TWC Pistol A, B, or C)
UD CC 4: Pistol E (TWC Pistol A, B, C, or D).
They wouldn't all have to be pistols, of course, but I think you get my drift . But my point is, as long as the primary weapon is different, you can use the same weapon as secondary weapons throughout the devastation. Of course, that's most likely going to make you run into that "Impossible" difficulty check even earlier!

That might be an interesting route for a Gadgeteer who wants to keep their Tinkered and Jury-rigged weapon(s) in play. You're right that the difficulty increase would make things trickier, though (you could cross spec to Gunslinger for Guns Blazing to help, but then you're looking at a lot of strain expenditure).
The Boondock Saints SA.....
My question does this work
1st Pistol A
2nd Pistol B
3rd Pistol A
4th Pistol B
5th Pistol A
Cause technically that is using a different weapon each time. I suspect the long talent desciption goes over this..
what career spec are you drawing that ability from?
People already trying to power gamer it and abuse it....sigh. How unimaginative. So you have a pair of pistols, maybe some knives. Different also means different, as in different weapons, not different order of same weapons. The SA lets you move constantly potentially while you're using it, be a little creative, and not just a min/maxer. Carrying 5 pistols would be a pain in the @$$. You'd be encumbered to just pop this once a session with your 5 pistols, and not have all manner of other things readily available because of it.
So as you use the weapons on you and drop them, or stow them, whatever, you're on the move, snatching bottles off the bar and chucking those, throwing a stool, the wrench on the work bench, the blaster the first guy you killed dropped, etc. Don't be a gun store display with a name, make a story and a character, not a 'win button'.
Definitely with you there pirate, I may have been a little sidetracked thinking of storming a secure office building in black trench coats and shades.
As with so many of the SA's it's super thematic and I can see a lot of awesome narrative coming out of it.
That bar fight idea is great, the possibility of moving 6 times in a single round to go right through the bar, the kitchen then out into the back alley.
Another cool scene to set up would be a jacky chan style Martial Artist fight in the streets, punching and kicking and using all sorts of odd items.
A grenadier with stun grenades storming a pirate ship, taking the mooks weapons to finally face the captain all before they have a chance to act.
It's a hugely Strain heavy signature ability, but with 5 combat rolls you could easily act conservative and use Advantage to recover some of it. I know a lot of players will enjoy this one.
