I know! Thank groodness! I was literally starting to go crazy... O_o

Yes, groodness had very much to do with it. You should thank him in a very … special … way.

Dang it, Brad >_< ...

I really enjoy it when my wife thanks me in a very ... special ... way. I would expect groodness to similarly appreciate Absol's special thank you
Heteronormative jerks, the lot of you! >_<
While I am certainly heteronormative and I often miss social cues (aspergers), I tend to not purposefully be a jerk (my wife says I am quite kind and caring and gentle). But back to the friendly humor in an I hope not too offensive way (I have a hard time judging)... I don't know whether or not groodness is a Transgender male (i've never met him) and if he is and is pre/post op and whether that state would make Absol more inclined to give groodness a special thank you
I was thinking of a … very special … “Marcyverse” way.
You know, like totally NSFW, and all.
But the specifics of “thanking groodness” would be something I would leave up to the imagination of … the appropriate party.
;)
I would like a trick or two to disable vehicles to get a fugitive and others to bring them in alive. Unrelentic Skeptic is nice but not so much the bounty hunter archetype.
Ion weapons?
Something that is personal scale and is usable against vehicles. A directional ion charge that can be fixed to the fuselage of a ship to disable its drives or a bigger version of the restraining bolt which is able to block ship systems.
New article up covering the three species: Devaronians, Clawdites, and Kallerans. With some juicy info on the Clawdites and Kallerans! More than usual.

Sweet. Nice find
I like how they also slip in that Martial Artist is going to be a specialization.
Edited by warchild1xAlso we know one of the specializations is Martial Artist. So, that's Martial Artist and Operator.
They also sneakily reveal Martial Artist as a new Spec.
EDIT: Gah! Ninja'd

I'm a Martial Artist, obviously.
I'm guessing the Clawdite stat block will be 3 in Cunning, 1 in Presence and 2s the rest of the way. I'm playing a USM Clawdite in my home game, so I'll have to see how much difference there is between the two and if my GM wants me to rebuild using official stats. Probably won't make a tremendous difference at our XP level (over 630 earned), but I'm happy to see Clawdites will finally be official!
Oooh, Kung Fu master! I can put my rough draft of the tree on the shelf (although I wonder how my homemade tree stands up compared to the final product. *shakes Magic 8 Ball* "Not even close")
Heh, two 'pretty' species! (Well, Clawdites
can
be pretty, if they want
)
Devaronians probably needed to be in EOE and the Clawdites were probably a no-brainer for the BH book. I'd have liked to have seen Ubese, but whatever.
Don't know or care about the 'Creature From The Black Lagoon' race. Like everything else in the DisneyVerse, it's fugly
Anyway... probably the most informative SW RPG article in years, which is nice. I wonder how 2nd Edition is coming along?

(AKA: the low point of the Terminator franchise)
They may be unusual, but I would also put Kallerans in the "pretty" category.
When I first saw them in the Kanan comic, I thought they were really cool looking.
Edited by kaosoeThe design of that shape changing ability is a masterpiece IMHO. First of all it being an Action limits the characters input beyond looking pretty. The Strain cost limits their longer term usage, but the Resilience requirement allows those who train to overcome that limit using Advantages. Then the opponents opposed check vs the Clawdites Deception really conveys that this ability is only skin deep and to pull off a proper deceit takes effort. Lastly the recommendation about boost and setback is a great reminder to players and GM's alike to think of environmental effects on individual checks... just brilliant.
I think there are going to be some amazing characters come out of just the species alone, even before looking at the new specialisations, motivations and obligations.

I think yours is fine.
I'm a little disappointed about Devaronians. They were already covered in Nexus of Power and by the looks of it only the flavour text will be changed for them in No Disintegrations. Even a variant Devaronian race similar to how Correllian Humans are handled would have been cool.
Clawdites gonna be a pain to GM
but tehy will be awesome to play
Only until you introduce 10 different NPC's over the course of an entire adventure, only for them all to actually be a single clawdite!

Actually, I'd like to see that for Zabrak. I doubt the difference between a Zabrak from Iridonia or it's colonies and Dathomir would be small.

Or ten different Clawdites, none of whom realize they aren't the only Clawdite working the situation.
