I am new to the game and was wondering exactly how taking actions happens? For example according to the rules it says at different times(Kingdom, Quest and during attacks and stuff) that both players have a chance to play an action. Now my question is who has prioirty to play the first action. or is there no sequence that is taken(For instance Active player gets first chance to play and action but does not have one so he passes then his opponent may take an action).

The active player is asked first, if he passes, the other player may take an action.
