Those superior position tokens tho

I knew I couldnt stop him killing Torryn with Admonition in the last turn, so I attacked his arse multiple times to get the cost of Torryn back in tokens. Preemptive vengence.

Congrats to Ginkapo.

I'll get those Bs one day. All of them!

(note for later: don't play P2 as if you were P1)

Great match you guys, looked very carefully played to me... congrats to Ginkapo!

Good game guys. Another win for Rebel bombers in recent tournaments. Looks like a tough build in any of its varieties.

And your prize, Ginkapo, is an automatic entry into the 2nd Annual Armada World Cup!

Congratulations, Ginakapo, and well played Gowtah!

Congrats Gink!!!

And your prize, Ginkapo, is an automatic entry into the 2nd Annual Armada World Cup!

I thought the prize was just a signature update!

Well done, Ginkapo! Congratulations on your Total Victory.

But enough about him. My only loss in the tournament was in the Semi-Final to the eventual winner, so I feel pretty good about my result. So in a way I'm a winner, too. Just not THE winner. That's Ginkapo. So...well done, mate.

I again want to thank Doobleg for organizing such a great tournament! You're a winner, too, Doobleg. Just not THE winner. That's Ginkapo. So, you know, well done...mostly.

And thanks to everyone who participated! You are all winners for helping to establish and promote a great Armada community. Unfortunately none of you were THE winner. Again, that's Ginkapo. So...great job, or something.

The important thing is that none of us, no one, not even one person is bitter about not being THE winner. That's important, you know, because you have to have perspective and not stress about every little loss. You have to, you know, play for the love of the game and not because winning is everything to you and you crave it like a drug and feel the constant NEED to be winning all of the time and nothing else, not the camaraderie, the fun, the friendship, none of that other stuff matters or compares to the heart pounding thrill of victory that nothing else can replicate or replace and that must be achieved at any cost. And you shouldn't focus on that loss; it doesn't mean everything, it happens to everyone and doesn't mean that you are a terrible player or should be ashamed of yourself and certainly shouldn't feel like a bottomless void has been created that's sucking you down into it, forever swallowing all those victories that came before like they never happened and that no amount of future winning, alcohol, sex or drugs will fill and it's growing to encompass your entire life, your family, your job, your pets; they are all forgotten, too, all because you didn't win. But next time will be Different!! I just have to go over every detail, every mistake, every opportunity missed, I have to review every possible strategy and practice practice practice every day, all of the time, at work, at home and if I just focus, FOCUS I won't lose next time and I won't feel that emptiness inside filling me up and dragging me down at the same time until there is nothing but blackness surrounding me on all sides. What I'm trying to say, I guess, is that when you are bitter, all your joy is taken from you. It's just a game after all.

Again, congrats Ginkapo. We're all so, so very happy for you.

I call this piece "The Darkness".

Thank you, that's all folks!

PS In case it isn't clear, this is satire. Be Well.
