Boba Fett + Two Protectorates

How would you go about kitting out this Mandalorian squad?

PS3 or PS5 Fangs? EU on Boba? Fearlessness?

Concord Dawn Ace - Fearlessness, Protector, Autothrusters x2

I think if you're going the fearlessness/concord dawn route, I think you're safe to drop autothrusters for engine upgrade on boba. I like the cheap Protectorates with just the title and fearlessness.

Concord Dawn Ace PS5 - CDP, Fearlessness x 2

Personally I'd be tempted to swap Rec Spec for K4 as Boba can be easily blocked. Maybe even swap ID for glitterstim too. Other way I'd look at it is:

Boba w/ attanni mindlink, tactician, glitterstim & EU

CDA w/ mindlink & tittle x2

You loose the high PS on Boba but provide him with more ways to modify his re-rolls and give the CDA's more token shenanigans.

VI and Engine are really good on Boba. I'd probably take the PS3 Fangs so you can have AT and use them as blockers, when they get a shot that is great but really they are setting up traps for Boba.

It would be nice to have a little more about the Concords so AT would be nice as they come in. There aren't multiple UBoats in my area so PS3 isn't a big concern.

I'd use the PS10 Boba along with Homing Missile and 4-L0M to knock Imperial Aces out of the sky, and I'd use the Fangs as PS1 grunts. If they shoot at Boba, the grunts can pew pew and do a little work. If they shoot at the grunts, good news; they're not shooting at PS10 Boba, who is going to be a huge problem late game.
You can take points out of the ordnance to add more to the Fangs, but then you start running low on actual answers to Imperials, so I'd be a bit wary about it.

Ya I'm still not sure how good Fearlessness is on generics. That R1 band on small ships is tiny. I feel like Attanni is the way to go if you're comfortable with the stress management.

Autothrusters are great and all. It's very satisfying to to watch your opponents face as you change one of your blank dice to an evade and cancel all his hits. However, unless you're facing turrets in every match, they're not gonna actually save you that often. When you're being shot at range three, in all likelihood you're gonna evade things with just a simple focus.

I've only played with the protectorate fighter once so far, but I didn't have any real problems getting them into range one. The trick is staying in the rocks and covering the avenues of approach. If you can pull off the positioning, you're gonna hit like a truck. You can't benefit from both AT and the ept/title at the same time though, and so I found myself getting little mileage out of the ATs.

Ya, I think the value of Fearlessness depends on your matchup. If you're against aces, it might never come into play.

Attanni gives you Focus/TL which gives you 2.8 hits. Compare that to Fearlessness/Focus which gives 3.0 hits but only at R1 and in each other's arc.

Stress management is a disadvantage for Attanni, but the Fang's dial is pretty good at clearing.

edit: I'm silly - the above numbers are at Range 2...

Fearless/Focus at Range 1 = 4.0 hits

Attani/Focus/TL at Range 1 = 3.75 hits

Boba fett wants fearlessness and tailgunner. Just being in range one gives him a whole suite of mods, so you want to take advantage of his arcs while keeping him cheap.

Those 2 upgrades do that.

I'd be tempted to try to fit Old Teroch in there somehow. That pilot just messes up the current metagame so much.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Unfortunately a lot of the cards being suggested (Tail Gunner and BMST for example, I don't have and won't have I believe). Not enough Attannis either :(

Seems that people aren't too taken with the Fangs and their R1 abilities then. Have the designers made a big thing of it just to avert our eyes from it being a Scum Squint?
