By the way, I know there's a huge bid...I'm definitely open to suggestions as to what the best use of those points would be.

Items to consider: upgrade one mc30 to a title?

Upgrade one mc30 to a scout frigate?

Both would be good, but you want a decent bid at the same time. Not sure what the right call is in the end. :(

If you're running Ackbar I feel like you should be running Scout frigates and TRCs

I thought about the TRCs but my main reason for trying this list again was to try out the synergy between Home One, QTC, and those black dice. Anyone try this and is it feasible?

Akbar is mainly there to give the frigates a red accuracy for QTC, ensuring that the blue and black dice to maximum damage. I could swap him out and upgrade to Scouts but then my damage output would go down.

I'm just not convinced guaranteeing 2 accuracies is worth the point investment, especially since you're already at close range with torpedo frigates. Double especially since you have a decent chance of rolling an extra accuracy naturally with blue dice. But against how many ships is having 2 accuracies significantly better than having 1? Basically the Liberty and maybe an Assault Frigate with ECM or Advanced Projectors. 27 points just seems like a lot to invest in a load out that seems situationally useful

Maybe sit Ackbar on Jainas? I personally would hate running an MC30 worth more than an ISD-II

Interdictor, Glad, Liberty, AF2, MC30, Nebulon, basically everything with Mon Mothma; situational on the ISD, VSD, MC80.

So, pretty much everything but the Raider and the two flotillas. All three of which suffer significantly from one guaranteed accuracy, meaning Home One is still super useful there.

There are better builds out there, but the guaranteed double accuracy is a pretty big deal, particularly when you're pushing through a bunch of damage.

With Home One and Ackbar, I've been having quite a lot of fun with this:

MC30 Torpedo with Ordinance Experts and Enhanced Armaments at a minimum. Flavor with IO or titles as points allow.

Nice trickle damage at long range; can't ignore damage at medium; it hits like an ISD at close range. All at speed 3/4 if you like.

3 of them are real nice.
