All this talk about the Yavaris two step (Yavaris+FC+FCT) made me think.

What if you did it with the Demolisher?

It too has the abilty to have the FC+FCT combo.

Or with FC alone you still have a ship that can make an attack+ squadron attack after it has moved.

Imagine a bomber attack of two or three squadrons right after a you made an triple tap, that would for sure put someone in the hurt box even more than before.

Its a counter balance thing.

You gain the extra ability to hit with the bombers.

But you lose out on Engine Techs, and/or Wulff, in order to do it...

I mean, Wulff is nice and all...

But I can't tell you the last time I saw a Demolisher without Engine Techs... I mean, really...

You can probably do it, keeping ETs, but dropping Wulff for a Flight Commander... Just be careful of your Ranges. You'll probably have to use Bombers instead of Firesprays, range depending - but take that with a grain, as I havn't actually put it on a table to check said range. It may work...

But is it better than ensuring you're there with a grind anyway?

Well a Gozanti+ Coms Nets and/or Tarkin could assist with tokens.

FCT is not needed that badly (speed 4 bombers), so one can still keep Engine techs.

It is the FC that enables to activate squadrons after movement that would be interesting to use on a Demolisher.
