Fenn Rau can roll additional attack/defense dice if the enemy ship is in range 1

Norra Wexley can spend her TL on the enemy ship to add focus result when defending/attacking.

Since all ships controlled by the opposing player are considered as Enemy Ships (page 10 of Rules Reference) can I spend TL I have on one ship to add focus result rolling against attack of the other ship?

And with Fenn Rau, can I roll additional dices when I am within rng1 of any enemy fighting the other enemy (like in rng2-3)?

"you" = the ship with the ability/upgrade card

so physically referring to Rau/Wexly specifically

so you (rau) has to be within range 1 of the ship attacking rau

Note the differences between the wording on Fenn Rau vs Gemmer Sojan. Gemmer adds a green against any attack from any enemy if he is Range 1 of at least one enemy ship. Fenn only gets the bonus if he is Range 1 of the attacking ship.

Seems weird that they didn't use the usual and much clearer 'on the defender' and 'if the defender'..

Only times that is unclear is when flying a Tie-Defender with juke.. changing results of the defender seems funny in that case

edit- nvm doesn't work with attacking+defending abilitys

Fenn says-

When attacking or defending, if the enemy ship is at Range 1, you may roll 1 additional die.

This says the enemy ship, not an enemy ship. This infers that the enemy is the one you are rolling dice on, not any enemy in the opponents list.

​I think Nora's ability is pretty self explanatory too,

When attacking or defending, you may spend a target lock you have on the enemy ship to add 1 Focus result to your roll.

When it says you or your it is talking about the pilot using the ability.
