{[Scum]} Tankmaster 5k & Friends

Recently I've been running some jumpmaster 5k & boba lists (Bobar most of the times), and I noticed, that people often try to kill the jumpmaster 1st, no matter what. So I come up with a idea to make it a tanky one. Deci and Ghost have 16 hp each and no evades. Tel with gonk and hull upgrade may be more durable owning to her's 2 evade dice and barrel roll actions (and ability of course).

What do you think? Any other ideas for tankmaster & friends?

Not really a fan of Zuckuss on Boba here, because if you're piling on the stress, you won't be getting much use out of Engine Upgrade.

Just make sure you know your can't double gonk with PTL.

I've run a similar but with Dengar as well. His double tap and R5 make people less willing to target him.

The current FAQ, as of July 1st states: "Both actions on “Gonk” are different actions. A ship equipped with “Gonk” can perform both actions during a round if it has the ability to perform multiple actions." In other words, you can do both actions with gonk, so go nuts.

Astech, that's true, and if the build was using Experimental Interface you'd be 100% correct. However, PTL specifies that the second action must be shown in your action bar. Pretty sure that's the part that janusgeminus was getting at.

I probably won't be using both gonk actions in same turn- it's 1/2 of my list, so it has to deal some damage too. And HU gives too much for TT to not take it.

Jm5k has Decent greens but unhinged on his gives you right turn greens. More greens the better with ptl. I've found its a big help. Tel is one of my favs. Great end game. I'd put 4lom on boba. Take care of x7 tokens better.

Now you can add bmst or rigged cargo or the ever handy initeral dampeners.

I was indeed referencing that PTL only allows for an action bar action and not an action card action. Make sure you gonk first, if you intend to gonk at all in a PTL turn.

Hull upgrade is a good choice for Tel. When wave 8 first landed, I remember a lot people talking about Tel + hull upgrade. Tel doesn't seem get as much play as scouts, Dengar, and Manaroo now. Because Tel has 2 agi, it, in theory, should increase his survivability to be equal to or slightly better than a deci or a ghost. But then, we've all had games where it doesn't matter how many green dice we have, they all roll up blanks....
