Carrion Spike (custom Imperial Raider title card)
How would cloaking even work for a huge ship? I read Tarkin and I wish the Carrion Spike were in the game!
Sadly, I think the current Cloak action is too powerful for a Huge ship, as thematic as this idea is. Imagine Cloak + Reinforce (not to mention Automated Protocols). And since it is Aft only, does this mean the Fore still has its normal action as well.
Edit: for more constructive input, I'd look to an effect similar to a Sensor Jammer (turn an attacking ships Hit or Crit result into a Blank, for example), or perhaps disallow Target Locks at range 3 or longer (you have to get close to detect the ship, so you can't get a TL further away; in return while cloaked the ship can't TL at range either).

As written, makes no sense. Do you decloak like normal (~10-Forward, which would be the most broken ability ever) or do you Decloak forward using a 2-Forward from the Huge Ship maneuver tool (good, but underwhelming and rather uninteresting). You could gain +2 Agility from being cloaked, but you're giving up 2-8 attacks from your Raider to do it. You could make a support raider that stays cloaked and has Targeting Coordinator, Comms Booster, Tarkin, and Fleet Officer to help your other ships, I guess, but seems like an awfully expensive use of points.
Why not simply say this:
Carrion Spike
(15 Points): You deploy
after
all other ships have been deployed on the board.
This lets the Carrior Spike "appear out of nowhere" as if it had been cloaked at the start of the battle. It's also quite good, since Huge Ships typically have to deploy before all other small and large ships, so you get quite a powerful choice to put yourself in the best spot.

I originally made it Aft only because all the other Raider title cards say it...though it made no sense to me, I just followed the format. It just showed up yesterday, so I have no explored all the aspects. It is my first epic ship.

Was this a typo? I don't know of any 10 Forward moves.
I see it decloaking using a 2-Straight (Huge ship) maneuver and that it could overlap ships, thereby damaging any in its path.
Edited by VellcrowThe repositioning would be overpowered, but adding 2 green dice would be under powered, I fear.
I do like the suggestion of just straight up copying Sensor Jammer text for the ship ability
BTW: you may wish to read the last couple issues of Poe Dameron.
I can't help but think that huge-ship cloak would involve energy somehow.
What if it required, say, 5-6 energy to initiate the effect,so it wouldn't be an action but would have similar timing? Could even allow movement shenanigans with that requirement.
