The picture there says it's 1/44 scale, which would be a bit bigger than IA scale. The page you linked to, though, says it's 1/144 scale, which I'm guessing is correct and would look fine with the 10mm scale infantry you use Joe.

The only time we have seen X-WINGS and AT-AT's on screen was in ROGUE ONE. There they looked about the same size as the AT-ACT's heads, and it is the same here with these models. Not too bad at all Brother.

Meanwhile, I'm bummed out 'cause my new MicroMachines AT-ACT's head doesn't swivel like the ol' AT-AT's.![]()

I am not the only one ...

I would rather get x wings and at-ats for imperial assasult, ia just looks better suited for land war stuff, even if scale would be a bit off.

i would not hold my breath waiting for that...

I know I'm late to this, but what scale are X-wing models? What would be a good scale for infantry/tanks?
OK.....1/270 is X-wing ships. That translates to about 6mm mini size. There are some generic Sci Fi tanks I can find on ebay. Not sure on infantry. It would be cool to find a bunch of infantry, buildings, and vehicles that were the right size.
6mm is a relatively common scale for wargaming, thanks to GWs epic. My personal favorite for the scale are onslaught minis and vanguard minis (who also carried onslaughts stuff in the U.K.)

both have some good infantry figs, the onslaught OTC range has some stuff that would probably fit SW well, including some duros jedi figs, and their mercenary range has some Terran enforcers that would make great stormtroopers.
you can also work with 10mm scale, which can be a bit easier to find matching SW toys, as I am sure Joe will be along shortly to mention. Best bet for 10mm infantry is the dropzone commander range

Yup... I agree with FL on this. I do like 10MM just because I am an old fat man and unless I get my big-ass up and really look at them 6MM just looks like little blobs on the table. If you want the little guys to look like they can actually get inside the ships you should go 6MM or 1:300 scale. There are a number of tiny aircraft and battleship detailing figures out there you can use, but they are not at all Sci-Fi.
REBEL TANKS... I found some nice alternate models for them... SCUM too!

Scum is the only real problem with getting a ground war variant into X-Wing. They simply don't have enough canonized stuff to really compete. Imperials have MOST of the stuff we've seen, but you coudl totally get away with some of the older stuff for the Rebellion - such as Rex and pals in the Season 2 premiere of Rebels last year in that ATPT or whatever you call it. But the Empire simply has the overwhelming majority on ground vehicles, and scum has Jabba's skiffs and Jabba's sail barge... and I think that's about it. You could make an argument for Cloud Cars being Scum, but then the Rebels would be left with little else besides Airspeeders (Snowspeeders).
Truth is, we may just need to get some huge huge stuff for Imperial Assault - and some Epic outdoor war maps. But even then.... The rebels have ONLY small-based characters, nothing large, no creatures, no vehicles... So any base set would need to have an AT-AT, and like 4 Rebel Vehicles in order for it to resemble balance.

I kinda found a couple of tanks that each represent elements of this monster. The blue-black-gray tanks on the left in my tank picture are what I am useing for my SCUM Tanks. When I add some bits to them and give them a nice red-orange dirty paint job on them they will be fine and Mando-enough.

Thanks for that! I might have to poke around. Hmm...might also be cheaper to find someone trying to sell some 6mm already. I'll have to ask local and/or try Bartertown. Then again, I think I'd want to see a coherent system for using Star Wars infantry that was probably ripped off of some other game.
I'm also poking around some of those other links I found many pages back on 6mm SW game.
You mean like a second edition?
FYI, this video was released on April 1st.
