Yes I apologise for that people, I probably should have started a new topic, my query was not meant to slip into the "main" thread: other than a quick are there noticeable differences and where to go for further research? Julia addressed both very succinctly. Sorry for the derailing.

I bought Fury of Dracula 3E the same day FFG announced the agreement with GW was ending.
I loved (and played) Fury of Dracula 2E so much, but gave it to a friend a couple of years back as he loved it even more than I did.
While I agree with Julia that the 2E is the preferred edition rules wise (even with the streamlined combat in 3E), the components in 3E are so much better, especially the board.
