Sorry if this has been asked before. But in the FAQ I see that there are groups of 1 figure. As such does this mean I could use these cards to activate multiple probe droids?

Yes, but only one additional group for each.

A group is the (undefeated) figures of one deployment card or a hero (in the campaign). A group can have 1 to three figures.

With both you could even activate a regular HK Assassin Droids (8), regular Probe Droid (8+3 totals 11), and then maybe elite Probe Droid. (3+5 totals 8)

Yea I use this a lot in my Sorin lists, eProbe/eProbe/rProbe or eProbe/rProbe/Sorin by using one then the other
