I have already the first edition of M&M but no other expansions.

Should I buy Recurring Nightmares or Suppressed Memories to have all the available elements?

Recurring Nightmares includes tiles, monsters, and investigators from the 1st Edition CORE BOX

Suppressed Memories includes tiles, monsters, and investigators from the 2 big box 1st Edition EXPANSIONS ("Forbidden Alchemy" and "Call of the Wild")

So in your case, you would want Suppressed Memories, but can skip Recurring Nightmares.

Yes, to gain access to the free scenario it's enough that you enable the expansion from the product collection on the app
