Yet another reason to be upset at the TIE/SF

By bcons, in X-Wing

Ok so, I know this is a long shot, but, if X-Wing still manages to reach 5 more waves, it's possible...

With the rebels getting Sabine's tie, why wouldn't we see rebels getting the TIE/SF? Will it happen?

Logically- no

Reality- probably

FFG's reality- yes

So if we do get this TIE for rebels, well, obviously Poe would be a pilot. AND crew Rey would

ABSOLUTELY amazing with Poe, so Poe can focus (no pun intended) on other actions, with Rey holding his focuses. Hopefully we may see this happen on another rebel ship, such as that transport from VII.

But eh, it's a long shot

P.s. I just learned how to bold and underline, so please excuse my excessive bolding/underlining...

Remember that time Poe got shot down? Can't wait to do it again.

???

you think that's bad?

behold, the infuriating PROXY SF!!!!

What did i just read?

Since I still do not have an Imperial TIE/sf, I am having a really hard time working up a froth over a Rebel TIE/sf.

What did i just read?

I would very much doubt that the 30 seconds that Poe possessed a /sf for would merit inclusion in the game, any more than the much longer period that the Tyderium was in Rebel hands did.

Sabine's TIE is a slightly different thing as it was owned long-term by the Rebels rather than used for a single mission.

Edited by thespaceinvader

it really just comes down to that (pilot) Poe and (Crew) Rey would have awesome synergy

In that case, it's a truly shame that the SF/TIE has no crew slot...
But do no lose all hope, maybe in the ep. XIX Poe will ride a phantom, one with also an imperial astromech regen droid!

Except that it appeared only twice and got used for a single mission.

Not that I care, but keep it real, at least.

Well if that isn't the non-sequitur of champions...

...coff *Quadjumper* coff....

...ye, I'm joking. Or not?

So far ;)

Which appears to be a pretty standard space tug and was on Jakku for who-knows-how-long being used by scum type people (i.e. not imperial or rebel, there's no other neutral faction).

I wouldn't particularly object to a rebel /sf but I don't think it's likely to happen.

Or, in ep. VIII, an upgraded version of the U-wing, with improved propulsor, is used by our heroes to escape a dire situation, and in the last moment, BB8 is finally able to connect to the ship system and jump in to the hyperspace...

An then, a U-wing ship with droid slot and native boost maneuver with a PS9 Poe as pilot.

Oh boy! with R5P9, Finn and Rei... Auto-thrusters to flip the finn extra blank into automatic evade, and FCS to reroll the Finn blank in attack. R5P9 to regen such a difficult to kill ship, and Rei reusing the focus when it's not spend in regen shields.

If the thing is to wish... Why not shoot for the stars?

With your thought process on who flew what with who in what with some wiggle room, can we have a mod card that allows these two to fly together once again?

I do believe that pilot in that ship blew up that droid. I saw it in a movie once. We can already do that in this game.

TIE/ln doesn't have a crew slot either, so...

Eta-2 Actis. Astromech slot. (R2-D2 astromech is not Rebel Only )

Here's another reason to be upset at the TIE/sf and by extension the ARC-170 - It's not out yet.

(At least where I am).

Vader's powerful ability combined with the amazing R2-D2 benefiting from Eta's large selection of green manuevers might seem overpowered at the first glance, but I think Eta's lack of shields will be able to balance the combo out :P

upset at the ARC? Heresy!

you just read a really off topic post,

Speculating on future waves is off topic? How?

Uh, it was totally just used for just a single mission.

Two, if you consider the time it was actually stolen as a 'mission'.
