False Orders: Need a ruling.

By Doctor X, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Can Murne use the False Orders ability to order a Probe Droid to self-destruct? If so, based upon the game last night that inspires me to ask this, Probe Droids just became completely worthless.

No.

1) Self-destruct is not an attack. False Orders can only perform an attack with the hostile figure.

2) Self-destruct happens during the end of round step of the status phase, so it isn't available during the activation phase.

False Orders also cannot be used to perform any special action containing an attack. False Orders does not give an action, it only allows to perform an attack with the hostile figure's attack type and attack pool and attack abilities.

And This

Ok, was pretty sure it was wrong but said I'd ask. Sorry for the double post.
