Yeah, it's a fun combo but not as surprising as you might think. 7-dice attacks have existed in the game already. Proton Rockets or Advanced Proton Torpedoes + Opportunist + Jan can do the same thing.
What's really crazy is that you can now get an 8-die attack. Keyan Farlander + Opportunist + Advanced Proton Torpedoes + B-Wing/E2 + Finn + Jan in a HWK nearby = 8 dice at Range 1.

Put finn on the ghost with fcs instead. Free target locs to reroll and you get 6 dice at range 2-3 (with jan) without opportunist

The coolness in the gifs I posted are from the NEW 2012 remake. The series linked here is the 1977'ish classic. It is good but it shows it's age now. You want the NEW Space Battleship Yamato 2199 series.
