My local store wanted to do something fun for the holidays rather than our normal League, since not everyone could be there. So he put together a destruction derby styled free for all.

30 points for a kill, but you have a target that gets you 45 points if it's your first kill

When a player dies, he moves the closest asteroid to him in the direction of his choice, then after each combat gets to move one asteroid to represent normal drifting.

Surprisingly, the only repeat ship was two T-70s.

I ended up getting a target just across from me, the Misthunter, so I made a beeline for him, taking most of the match to take him down(the map was filled to the brim with asteroids, so maneuvering was tricky). By the end of the match, getting 4 asteroids moving a turn meant nobody was getting actions, but I only ended up dying to an unfortunate couple Ion shots taking me off the map
