Oh noes, because the pre-painted scheme totally stops you from painting it if you want. And from your other posts, no I will not paint my ships as a "requirement" (honestly if you spend more time worrying about your opponents paint scheme than their firing arc or range or asteroids you probably should re-evaluate your tactics.). Painted ships die just as fast as factory ones. (and besides the Y-wing and X-wing (wave 1) the pre-painted actually looks really nice.)

I totally disagree. This game has always been a ready to play game. The miniature, always come pre-assembled and painted. And frankly 90% of the time that I see repainted ships at a tournament I don't the the painter did a better job than the original FFG paint job. FFG isn't taking the hobby out, it never was a core part of the game.

These aren't the first repaints, and I for one have been glad for the repaints, but I won't buy them for the new paint job, instead I will buy them for the new cards and pilots.

Well we had a rough page 4-5 with people starting to feel bad for me, but page 6 is right back on track. Keep reelin em in. Paint your models.

I'd consider myself a gold painter and I've painted a Black One T-70 as a Christmas gift for a friend last year.

So I had a small "great I did all the work and now there is a prepainted Black One getting released?" moment.

But you know what? This is my unique take in the Black One.

Why should I be salty over someone getting one prepainted if he/she hasn't the time/skill to paint?
