Here's the idea,

Put the U-Wing titled in the corner at a 45 degree angle, facing into the board, put the title in the +AGI position.

Put Biggs behind, angled to bump cleanly.

Put the K-Wing nearby.

Have the U-Wing issue a stop every turn.

Have Biggs do a 1 Forward every turn, thus bumping for the entire Match.

Use the K-Wing to get arcs (use SLAM if you have to) and then use Jyn's ability to assign Biggs a bunch of Focus tokens, with one of them (because of Jan) turning into an Evade.

Don't know how competitive it is, and it pretty much defeats the whole purpose of X-Wing (you know, like, FLYING), but it would be hilarious as a troll build. Thoughts?

You're assuming the U-wing has a white stop.

I think it will have one, either directly on the dial, or at least as a pilot ability.

Exactly! I'm sure the Stop will be Red, but with Hera, you can do it all night long! (And day as well)

Also note the Tactical Jammer, so that Biggs gets 3 dice for defense.

Even with Agility 3 and an Evade token, it won't take that long to burn down Biggs. If you really want to make it trollable then give him a Shield upgrade and R2-D2. Very silly but between the various mods and a shield regen each turn, you could keep him alive for a while.

Which just leaves the small matter of actually killing the enemy who can maneuver while you are basically stuck in place.

If the U-Wing's stop is not white, you'd need Hera (crew) or R2-D6 + Wingman on Biggs to make this work.

Even then, opponents will just kill Hera first since she's not tied up in the bumpfest and is thus unprotected by Biggs, after which a 3ag Biggs with no actions is real easy to shoot down.


For a long while now, YV-666s have been able to make far more impressive and scary "corner-stopped fortress" lists, and they've never taken off in the meta.

I presume that if I were to face this in a tournament with a list that starts with more red dice I could just fly around the opposite end of the map for an hour and roll off to win?

Sounds like a fun way to waste 1/700,000th of my life...

Also keep in mind that it's not terribly hard to line up a shot where only Cassian is a valid target.
