Any Upgrade Slot - Any Ship

So, I've seen the "Any pilot ability on any ship" conversation pop up now and then, but was curious about a similar thought line.

If you could put any one upgrade slot, on any ship, what would you put on what?

Personally, I'd probably love to stick a Turret upgrade slot on the Z-95 to make the turret haters hate harder.

Lt Blount - ICT - Vectored Thrusters = 24

Bandit Sqd - TLT - VT = 20 (x2)

Bandit Sqd - TLT = 18 (x2)

Alternatively, I might have fun with a Bomb slot on a Scyk. Just to put conner nets on the entire board.

Cartel Space - Hvy Scyk - Extra Mun. - Conner Net = 22 (x4)

Binayre Pirate = 12

What silly or broken combos do you think would be fun to try?

Guaranteed Ion plus damage is more fun than just damage to me.

Fel with Advanced Sensors?

Inquisitor or Ryad with R2D2.

Storm squadron pilot with ept - Juke accuracy correcter advanced. Could just barely squeeze 4 into a list.

Or just 6 Academy with AC.

How about A-Wings with a crew slot. Then you could put Hera on Tycho, and literally nothing would stop him!

4X Academy with Ion cannon batteries and Junus shuttle.

Then I realized, no energy. Sad face.

The two that don't exist, but should. Not just should, but "why in the hell isn't this a thing already" should.

Y-Wings with a crew spot.

TIE Defenders with Sensors.

Also, Horton should have an EPT. So much so they should just come out and errata him today.

Advanced Sensors on everyone, because K-Turns and Targeting Astromech with a Focus could be fun.

Slave 1 should have a system upgrade slot. Fett made it the most advanced ship in the galaxy. It didn't need a torpedo slot. I'd also recommend Slave 1 gets a weapon discount. Like -1 to any equiped weapon.

I also wish IG-88D crew wasn't actually a crew slot. Like a generic title that was Large ship and scum only. It would probably make the jumpmasters more broken, but for the firespray/hounds tooth it is fine. Neither of them even have boost naturally.

Astromech on an attack shuttle.

Sabine wren, push the limit, Kyle Katarn, R2 D2, Shield Upgrade.

Pilot ability to boost or barrel roll; push the limit to barrel roll, focus, or evade; green maneuver to clear stress, get a focus token, and get a shield back; finally take last, barrel roll, focus, or evade action.

Along with a turret so you don't have to line up a shot, just stay out of enemy arcs and if you don't you have either two focuses and an evade or at least one focus and an evade, and even if you take damage you get one shield back next round.

I remember the rebel strike rouge squadron multiplayer option where you could put torpedoes on an A-wing. I think you would have less as the A-wing had a lower capacity but I don't remember, multiplayer was pretty unintuitive.

Slam on Corran?

TIE/FO with missile or torpedo slot.

5 Epsilons with Homing Missiles, or 4 Omegas with Juke, Comm Relay and Plasma Torpedoes.

EPT on punishers would be nice to see.

Cannon on tie fighter would be silly funny for cannon swarms

EPT on lambda

Astromech on the decimator, B-rolls, shield repairs

Astromech on the tie SF for quickdraw/r5-p9 fun

Astromech on TIE/FO for green sloops

Astromech on tie defenders for all green 1/2 and all green banks

A 2nd EPT on anyother ship with an EPT already

Unhinged astromech on Corran, so PTL and r2d2 have hard greens to play with.

Turret (aka TLT) on Tie fighters, for five to the list and barrel rolls besides. :D

... Oh, sorry, you wanted sensible ideas?

System slots on TIE Defenders. With x7 and fcs, you can have target lock, evade and focus all on the same turn, every turn.

Turrets on aggressors.

Agromech on defenders - whether you go for all the green you could ever need, or Ryad, mk2 ion and r2d2... doesn't really matter. It's absurd either way.

A-wings with turrets: whether it's the prototype pilot with TLT and autothrusters who runs away all game, or psycho Tyco with the autoblaster turret that's the most horrific, I just can't decide.

EPT on all intercepters: you might cheer for the duds, but lone wolf on soontir might inspire... opinions. ;)

Crew on X-Wings, just to boost Biggs.

A Team slot on a Lamdba or TIE Shuttle.

TIE/x1 and ATC on the Inquistor.

Believe or not, people stridently insisted you could do this until FFG FAQed it.
