Wtfantoms. Try it. It's a good time.

Take a palpoutine and run it with both echo and whisper. But neither of them with ACD.

Try the stygium,fcs...vi on echo and adaptability on whisper. Make em both 8.

There's room to tinker. ...try stealth devices instead of cloaking toys.

Spend the first few turns cloaked and just positioning.

Have 5dice and a palp then...when ...the time is right... strike.

But...ive had better results with the s.p.a.

A for real evade is better then a dice...and cheaper.

But..the real benefit for me was...not caring so much about initiative because of ACD.

P.s. 8...banked evade tokens...it a **** good time

A shame that nobody considers non-ACD Phantoms, really, this looks a lot of fun and at least a bit competetive. Hard to learn flying without ACD?

Lost mh first match at a summer kit tournament. Then got a feel for it and ended up taking second place.

Its not very different. And not caring so much about shooting first actually takes some of the pressure off the play style.

There's a tiny bit of wiggle room for tweaking things...like using crew instead of FCs. Or you can fit both with ACD. If you really want to try it.

There's the usual phantom quirks...like dying right away ....but then there's the other phantom quirk...throwing ten dice at something.

I like it. Flying phantoms with ACD is so disappointing. The trouble with PS 8 is that anything of 9 or higher will out fly you, as the phantom is pretty poor with just a barrel roll action. Wile you increase your durability against a single shot, your defensive options against several ATT 3 platforms is severely weakened, to the point that even B-wings and X-wings can start hurting you. If I were to try it, it would go along the lines of:

Omicron Group Pilot (21)

Emperor Palpatine (8)

Whisper (32)

Fire Control System (2)

Stygium Particle Accelerator (2)

Veteran Instincts (1)

Echo (30)

Fire Control System (2)

Crack Shot (1)

Intelligence Agent (1)

Total: 100 pts.

The idea here is to fly Whisper and Echo completely differently. Echo stays on the edge of range 3 with those nice 1 hard turns and uses crack shot to whittle down any PS 9+ aces. Whisper is kept in semi-reserve to protect her health, then flies in during the mid-game to put the hurt into low agility ships.

The only trick with Stigium is that you have to choose between attacking and cloaking, and normally neither are good choices on their own.

Perhaps move the Intel agent to whisper in your configuration. If echo is hovering at range tgree she isn't getting to use it much. Buy if whisper has it....it should make it that much better when it's time to dive her in to the fray.

Could S.P.A. and juke be a good combo I wonder?? May have to give up FCS on Echo. Don't think it would be as good on Whisper, she probably needs to stay PS9, but could be a good combo if you can find the points.

I think juke is good on everything. Your right ,here its best on echo because hopefully the target spent it's focus when whisper shot.

I often prioritise having matching p.s. on my ships for movement options. But it's probably more of a fetish then a tactical right thing to do
