Has this game actually been released in the UK?

i cant find it at gameslore, leisuregames or amazon. all say 'out of stock'

I think most places will have sold out the initial shipment on pre-orders, there is another load expected sometime in January. I got mine from Black Lion in Edinburgh, but I had a pre-order with them.

I think the whole Core Set sold out to private and store preorders, much like Dark Heresy did. Hopefully the reprint should appear early in the New Year.

Somehow the chinese manufacturer screwed up the UK order and so it didn't arrive. The UK destributer brought some over from the US and used them to fill stores preorders. This meant no online distributer in the UK got any.

Only reason I know is because I preordered from them and I was fairly curious at the time if they received any.

I got my preorder from IGUK, at the beginning of the second week of December. Have alrady had two gaming sessions before Christmas week. There must be something screwy going on, if both Maelstrom and IGUK have got copies for preorders, when they shouldn't have!

Quick update on my adventurer's kit, I emailed Maelstrom after I had posted here to find out what was going on and they got back to me hours later (it was on the Sunday, dec 28th, so MG are nothing short of AWESOME for customer service).

Anyway, they said that they had held my order because they were waiting on the dice packs (I had preordered something like 4 sets) but I asked if they could ship the toolkit ASAP and packed it and had it ready for shipping that day. So, even though their site says "out of stock" - they're not.

I've got nothing but high praise for Maelstrom Games from a customer service perspective. A couple years ago when Ogre Kingdoms were a new release, I decided to order a whole army on December 24th as a spur of the moment thing. It arrived on January 2nd - considering I'm on the other side of the planet and we had new years and christmas in between that time, I was very impressed from that point on. Still am.

IGUK posted my Adventurers Kit on the 23rd, and I finally received it today, all the joys of second class post over the Christmas period. Worth the wait though, some great new careers, action cards, talents, and some very evil new critical wounds. Also the ratcatchers dog is a great addition, it can have some great tricks!
