has anyone given this a shot yet? I've been thinking that the following might be pretty decent and I would love to hear from someone who has run it.
lothals rebel, Autoblaster Turret x2
biggs, R4-D6 and integrated astromech

Someone had an autoblaster Y-Wing as the third ship in that build and made it to the top table at North American Champs. I'm sure Biggs would still work pretty good.

yeah I am wondering how important those fcs are. also I heard some unkind things about how that guy played so I take the results with a grain of salt
FCS is hard to beat for action economy, particularly with those tasty 4-dice primaries. I can see the appeal of ABT to cover against slippery aces dodging arcs but by the same token, you chances of catching someone like Soontir with an ABT are remote without a separate blocker.

2 lothals flying formation can cover or block over 3/4 of soontir's usable flight space with abt's after his 1st in range round.
Large base +abt is what keeps them from being eaten by aces. Flown them with zeb and the titles on my lead ship instead of the y and it's brutal. Missle scouts on the other hand..... they can be an issue.
I really wanna try this, although I usually build it with EPT bot and adaptability on Biggs rather than R4D6.

Sorry, but what a waste of point
