Last tournament had lots of 2 large ship lists. 6 out of 8. Was won by a palp shuttle, decimator, tie advance crit list.

Thoughts?

I would go for homing missiles over protorps for better ace-killing. Alternatively consider gunner instead of Kallus to help burn through Soontir et als token stack.

I've used a similar list, but different upgrades. Takes a bit of practice though to get right:

Whisper w/ VI, FCS, rebel captive + ACD = 42

1 Gamma Vet w/ crack shot, homing missile, extra munitions & Long-range scanners = 27

1 Gamm Vet w/ deadeye, proton torpedo, flechette torpedo, extra munitions & guidance chips = 28

I've always liked Rebel Captive on Whisper, and the current meta makes it really, really good (Manaroo hates it, Overclocked scouts hate it, Soontir hates it, etc).
