Tie Striker card spread, interesting things I've noticed.

By JJFDVORAK, in X-Wing

So the picture of the card spread on the Striker is interesting for a few reasons. 1, there are 6 pilot cards. That's alot and I hope the PS 1-5 are generic, with 4 and 5 having an EPT. I think that is likely since they have the two obvious special characters on their own row and the generics on the back row. And we know at least 2 of its maneuvers. A white 2 turn is shown on the dial, and the Segnors instruction card is in the spread, so we know it has one(I'm guessing a 3 red)Also, is it just me, or does it have a shockingly low number of upgrade cards? They've already spoiled the Ailerons card, so that leaves the new Tie only modification (my guess) and the new EPT. I feel like there should be more upgrade cards. Anyone else green anything else from that image?

I think the PS5 is a unique, you can *just barely* make out the signature dot by the unique name.

I'm guessing the TIE only whatever (mod, I'd guess) has something to do with throwing an extra die given a specific condition while defending. Given 2 agility and 4 hit points, based on how hard the Rebel Phantom or uncloaked Imperial phantom go down, there's gotta be a way for a 4 hit-point TIE to be more defensive. Unless that pre-maneuver boost can get it out of arcs consistently, in this current meta with hard-hitters like Dengar and Bossk's party bus, it'll go down real quick if it can't bump up its defense.

The EPT is maybe something about being in-arc (you or another ship) and evade tokens/results? Probably when attacking with a primary weapon, but I'm not smart enough to try to guess the rest. It'll probably be something that the Striker can use really well with all its repositioning options.

It's a six pilot ship. Those always have fewer upgrades. Look at the TIE Fighter, FO, Interceptor and Fang.

The original TIE Fighter, Interceptor and FO expansions (as well as the Protectorate fang fighter) have so few upgrades because they have so many pilot cards. One pilot card basically takes the place of two upgrades.

People need to pay attention.

The PS6 is named "Pure Sabacc". Wonder what his ability will be, according to Wookiepedia:

A Pure Sabacc, sometimes referred to as a Sabacc, was a hand that totalled positive or negative 23 in the card game sabacc

His attack and defense just so happens to be 3,2. So maybe he can switch the two after moving?
