All in the title, I'm going to an epic Tournament this weekend and had an interesting thought. It's probably not been addressed in an faq so what's everybody's ruling?
Can Gozanti change ships docked each round at a tournament?
No, that's a decision made when Docking Clamps is equipped. You can't switch them between rounds any more than you can shuffle around your Elite upgrades between rounds.
Where are you getting that from?
You don't choose which ship's are docked at list building time. You choose to dock when you set up your ships.
Assuming you have multiple dockable ship types in your list, you can choose which type, if any, to dock when setting up.

And where are you getting that from? Absent a rule clearly stating that this decision is made during deployment (like Adaptability), I'm'a stick to my first reading.
(I don't have easy access to any of the documents to contain general docking rules at this moment, or I'd try to give you a better answer to where I'm getting it from.)

I just found a scan of the rules insert.
It actually states you dock during squad building. So I was wrong. I haven't played the Gozanti yet but assumed that I could decide at setup if I wanted to be docked or not.
