Just wanted to make sure to make this thread before someone makes it seriously.

But to make this at least somewhat constructive, I think the fact that there is an X-wing in the image ("Swag" maybe what it's called? lol) bodes well for the T-65. I think the image actually has a Striker (out of view in the preview image) firing at the T-65, but I think it's pretty clear T-65s are going to be a big part of the film. With a SKU still missing, I think it's safe to assume the T-65 is going to be a focus of that expansion, and hopefully, we can finally get the T-65 in its rightful place as a competitive and effective ship, if only to get these X-wing fix threads and comments finished off for good!

I thought about it because the Striker is in a similar place to the T65 in some ways, but couldn't make anything out on the card.

Also an EPT, so it does nothing to change the ship balance except for make Lambdas, Punishers, K-wings and Rebel Y-wings even more sad.

It's unique and it's not limited to a single type of ship though.

There probably wont be an X-Wing fix this year as FFG hates the poor old ship, you know that after wave after wave of ships and no love for it, not even a title

I do believe however that it indicates FFG is not hiding away from the fact that the X-wing plays an important role in Rogue One, and thus the chances of it being revisited, possibly in the missing sku even, is a strong possibility.

There's a tiny place inside of me that keeps saying "X-wings need a fix, Rogue One is coming out, there's still a missing SKU, X-wings are in Rogue One, Rogue One could be a call sign for Rogue Squadron......" There's no more perfect time to release a "Rogue Squadron" X-wing expansion that does for X-wings what Imperial Vets did for the Defenders. It seems so perfect that it couldn't possible happen.

More likely there's a rogue squadron movie somewhere down the line.. 2021 maybe? What with r1, ep8, Han, ep9, Bobba movies all in line for yearly releases?

Well, there will very likely be a new X-wing coming down the line, the 'Partisan' X-wing in black and white colours that we've seen elsewhere.

There's a lot of toys of the Rogue One X-Wing with the black/white paint scheme. I'm sure it's coming.
