I figured 58 would be a Rogue one tie-in, but that was made very unlikely this morning. There has been a few articles about combining age of rebellion and X-wing..... Armada has a campaign on the way..... HotAC is a huge hit...... Could 58 be an official X-wing campaign?

Rogue One Core Set is my bet.

My bet is t-65 related.

I would be totally cool with this if it gave us the elusive"T65 fix" and some other good cards with a Xwing (new paint scheme from leaked R1 photo from a while back) and some more blue Ties.

I believe it will be Rogue One themed and it will have at least a Rogue One X-wing repaint (probably the black one). It will also have "the fix."

There's also the thought that FFG had finally got equal numbers of non-epic ships across the factions with Wave 9. Wave 10 _was_ the first wave in a while with one of each faction ship.

So maybe the missing thing is something scummy.

Maybe there's an epic set with a totally new small Scum ship included?

And given FFG has indicated Wave 10 and forward will keep all three factions in sync, and as of today's announcement Imperials and Rebels are both one ship up over Scum...

I think it's fairly safe to say that SWX58 is Scum.

Question is just whether it's "Rebels"-season-3 Scum, or "Rogue One"-so-far-unspoiled Scum.

You mean the one with the rebel symbol? Yah, not scum.

And while I really want a scum epic ship, Id rather get aces fiest. Theres too many scum ships needing fixes, and Id rather get 2 from an aces pack now and a third in the epic later instead of only one packed in wirh an epic and having to wait on the ofhers. And i dont get to play epic enough to need the epic ship itself badly

Why would they be keeping it under raps? Unless there is something Rogue One related, I don't understand why they wouldn't have given us that info already, and it looks like Rogue One is pretty clearly a Rebs vs Imps deal.

They could just not be ready to announce it yet. Maybe it got pushed back due to work on R1 stuff. Maybe it IS something related to the movie. Maybe they decided roo much stuff is announced and in the pipeline atm. Who knows.

Theres plenty to argue in scums favor though.

Imps just got their out of wave release with vets. Rebels have heroes coming. Scum have nothing.

Scum has 0 epic ships to rebel and imperials 2 each.

Scum was caught up on ship count after wave 9. Then they added two new ships today and left scum 1 behind again (though to be fair, an epic or aces doesnt fix this).

Pretty much every small base scum ship is in need of a fix. This includes the not-even released protectorate generics that they somehow thought were priced right at 20 points for a ps1 generic that should in no way be mlre rhan 19 max.

Well, the 'partisan X-Wing' is 'Rogue One'-related, yes.

And it's something that's been, so far, been completely missing from previews of the movie - only hinted at from a few spy shots from filming and a toy teaser that looks a LOT less official than the other ones.

IE., that there might be some kind of major non-Rebel, non-Imperial, third-party influence on the events of the movie might be something that Disney is trying to keep under wraps, for now, so we've got SOMETHING unexpected happening when watching the film. (Like why there were no toys with Rey wielding a lightsaber until well after the movie came out - they didn't want to spoil what was a pretty major plot point)

This has been the most annoying part of x wing since i got in pre wave 4. Wave 6 was announced before wave 5 or even if memory serves rebel aces hit the table. I did not care at all about wave 5, it's a wierd little blip for me

Considering that Rogue One ships have been identified and in the previews (trailers) there are both X-Wings and Tie Fighters makes me rank the most likely possibilities in order. Of course all I want is #3.

1. Rogue One Core Set (X-Wing and TIE Fighter movie tie-in)

2. Campaign Box (several hints out there and Armada has one)

3. Epic Scum Ship (hoping for crusader but Minstrel-class yacht in Freemakers)

4. HH-86 Starhopper (as most recently seen in Freemakers)

5. Jedi Starfighter (to make so many angry)

Since there are 2 rebel and 2 imperial in wave 10 I really think it will be scum and since they are missing a huge ship I really think this will be a huge scum ship. Possibly jabbas barge, or some other ship that has featured in an official capacity.
