I'm laughing that the U-Wing gets toggle-able S-foils before the X-Wing does.

And confused about the adaptive ailerons. It reads like you get an extra 1 speed before your normal maneuver, but the article reads like it replaces your dial.

It reads to me like you get an extra movement too, not a replacement maneuver but the writer of the articles have gotten it wrong before.

More like a g1a with sometimes +1 agi which is often effectively worthless (see my name)

I prefer to think of it as a T-65 with an extra hull, two extra shields, that trades its Astromech slot for a pair of crew slots and a system slot. It's the same price but comes on a large base instead of the small.

Considering the t65 just isn't good, thsts not something you want the U being comparable to

I'd pay 9 points for boost, evade, an extra agility, most likely a better dial, and the ability to trade for some of their pilot abilities.

Wow, that U-Wing on a large base looks so ridiculously bad. I don't get why it's not a small-based ship...even with it's chopstick wings it's still only about K-Wing bad on overhang and has roughly the same surface area as the Star Viper. The frickin' large peg is about as thick as the miniature...

note I don't think Jyn is really good, but the fact that she's "friendly" (note not "another friendly") can make her more flexible than just a sometimes 1 point cheaper Recon Specialist

The only list these days with that many ships is a Crack Swarm, and they'll chew up Biggs or whoever else gets Jyn's Focus if you joust with them...so jousting them is still a terrible idea.

I see her working well as a crew with Thane Kyrell (ARC-170)

Jyn seems rather awesome for your typical action starved rebel list. Nothing meta warping, but at least it seems like a useful crew at a reasonable price. The opportunity cost isn't even that high considering the sad action bar of the U wing either. The synergy with Biggs alone might make it worth its points and then some, or even Poe.

yes, but trust me here

1.) getting enemies in both arcs simultaneously is rare as hell

2.) ARCs without tailgunner (or gunner in r3-a2 braylen's case) are severely underwhelming

So it can be a 3agi ship with the wings open.

Stealth device comes with a 2agi ship after all (firespray)

However as we have learned thoughout the years, SD is terribad on 1-2agi ships. Better off with a hull upgrade and solidify that extra "dodge" (and hope it wasnt a crit) than run a high risk of never getting anything out of it.
