In some way, every single card in the game was a teaser of future expansions, and so it will be in the future.

I think he's referring to the card art. If that's the case, the answer is no. The Adaptability art depicts Green Squadron Pilots making use of the EPT to make flying in formation with a Dagger Squadron Pilot easier. Nothing more to it.
