After asking the UK players to describe Soontir Fel in three words I pulled together a blog about quite why he's such a pain to play against, and what you can do to try and bring him down to earth.

We currently live in the age of hyper - whether it's hypermobility (Fel), hyperdefence (Palp Fel), or hyperattack (Jumpmasters). The Rebel Alliance are noticeably lacking in all three, with a few exceptions, and that's why they're seeing so few top tables these days... hopefully Heroes of the Resistance will provide some answers!

Well, that's basically just a Range 1 gunner on the table, pretty much.

The homing missiles not really relevant - they can't evade but 4-LOM stops evade anyway, and he can't switch to strip focus because Soontir has two focus. You get to reroll with target lock but you've already got Dengar.

So, yeah, Bossk/Homing Missile is basically the same as Slaver/Range1.

But the point is that you will never be capable to bring Fel in your primary fire arc. Not with an Hound.

Yeah, and that Fel is going to dodge all your hits so Bossk's ability won't have any crits left to double up.
