Ace releases have never been part of a wave, and usually drop between said waves.

personally, I don't understand why there's been so much negativity regarding wave 9
if I had to guess, it'd be because wave 8 just cranked up the power to an incredible level with torp scouts and the inquisitor (who is busted efficient)
which is sad, because all the wave 9 ships can be incredibly powerful if you actually fly them right rather than go gaga over base stats ( especially the caster, very stat inefficient but it's got oodles upon oodles of tricks that more than make up for it if you fly them properly)

I can tell you why people are not happy for reasons,
Wave 6 Peeked everyone's excitement and no wave has been as good, (I loved wave 4 it was my jam stand)
Its not the assault gun boat.
People are not happy with their life and are negative.
People wanted a different ship, not that it matters which one just why cant we have a different ship.

There was not a local torny for stores to win the ships like wave 4.
No Scum epic,
No T-65 Fix/Star Viper fix/Hwk Fix/ E-wing Fix/ M3A Fix/ Tie SF fix or what ever the ship that needs to be fixed.
At the heart of the issue is that Jar Jar is not an crew card yet.
Edit that they have not banned cards or made things that are over powered under powered and have not given away free cookies with ships, or that ships cost too much money or something else ramble ramble ramble ramble.

The tournament crowd I believe is stuck in a rut too till someone dethrones jumpmasters and palpatine but wave 9 ain't gonna do it so it's more of a casual wave so the hype isn't there.

I wish that news would come out on the same day each month (first Monday each month) with little to say (focus on one part of a ship or a card coming out) so there is excitement through out the year with 2 dates for releases, May the 4th and Sept the 5th. Do the final News Story as ships are off the boat (when we have about 2 weeks left) so we know the date the ships come out. This makes it easy for GENCON and other Major Tornys so we are not guessing if ships are usable ( this would apply WORLD WIDE no more split country waves or what's legal) and gives times for FAQs and community feedback. IDK people fight this idea but honestly I think it would make us all happier.

(the up shuttle can push out some crazy damage in one turn the dice output is stupid) When wave 9 in is our hands in when we should see if it works or not to shake things up.

I agree BMST will hurt Palp aces that isn't the issue. People whine and complain how OP palp is but jumpmasters, either trifecta or dengaroo, are winning waaaay more tournaments. They are a much bigger problem and there is **** in wave 9 to hurt them. So it'll likely be at least another year before they get stopped. That alone, if I played tournaments, would make me not want to for another year.

Theres already lists that can beat uboats or dengaroo. The main problem is that a lot of them get wrecked by palp aces. If palp aces see less play, other lists become more playable. The reverse is also true of course, a lot of the lists that beat palp aces are countered by uboats.
Just saw this on Reddit. September 22nd is now OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED.
I hear there is a midnight release tournament at FFG's Game Center on the 21st, which I would assume corresponds to the 22nd release.
